For people having the leader screen crashes in version 10-2: it was suggested a few pages back that the issue might be resolved by turning down the leader screen quality in the graphics options. I just updated my graphics card drivers and started to experience the crash. I tried turning down the setting as suggested (from high to low) and it seems to have worked. I played an hour and a half with no crashes last night. I don't know why it worked, but it's worth a try.

Hopefully it's something that can be fixed. If not, a somewhat choppy leader screen is a small price to pay for so much awesome content. Thanks Gazebo!

I am having exactly that; the game crashes right after I exit the leader screen, but only in some instances (when another civ warns me about a plot, for example). It keeps on happening on these specific instances even after I reload the save. I turned off the Leaderhead completely in the config.ini, so I don't think it's a graphical bug... What should I do? :/

Ok, for the record:
Civ4 Diplo v10
CBP mod compat v9
City state diplo or cbp 6-19, v27
Infoaddict v22
Moar Lux v155
CBP v13
CP v66

Got the two saves with the dmp file. I also noticed that the recent updates were suppose to remove some of the issues with peace deals, but i dont know if the CTD is necessarily related. All i know is its chinas fault! :mischief:

Any word on these ctd? Might anyone be able to have a look at the dumps?

Using 10/1 version.
It says I got 5 Gold, but I have only 3 in my territory 0_0, also got a monopoly from that, even though there are at-least 6 other gold resources on the map, very strange!

Using the 10/1 version- I'm noticing some civs are just building Wonders out of the blue (not just accelerated build times, just boom, they have the wonder without even working on it).

I loaded the turn before some of these wonders popped and opened up IGE to see who was beating me and the cities aren't even making the wonder- they're building something else, and then just magically next turn they get the wonder and I'm notified that all my work was wasted.

It would be one thing if civs got a production bonus to make wonders somewhat faster. But when they just magically pop out and don't even take 1 turn away from their other build- I can't even cheat to see who's making what and try to race them. Extra laughs when the city that makes the wonder hardly has any developed tiles.

I'm playing on Warlord difficulty- is this intended? Does the phenomenon go away on a lower difficulty?

Are they entering a new era at the moment it happens? The AI gets a lump sum of bonus production in all cities at era changes.

What are you talking about, specifically?

There was a bug that i received when i was using the Community Patch. Ranged Units bombardment are was buggy( when i press "B") not showing correctly the range area.

But i fixed through changing the original Bombardment.lua with the Community Balance Patch's Bombardment.lua it fixed the problem completely.

@MrStarbuck your idea actually inspired me. thanks mate :)

No, no era changes. Everyone's still Classical Era.

And just to be clear, it's not like they're building a wonder and suddenly it gets sped up and they have it. They're starting something else (according to IGE) but the next turn they get the wonder anyway.

I have a savegame if you need it. Thanks for your attention G.

AI gets GE and expends him on the same turn.

1. It's too early in the game for Great Engineers (Turn 85)

2. It's happening to two different Civs getting wonders out of the blue on the same turn (Great Lighthouse and Temple of Artemis).

3. It already happened 5 turns ago to one of the same civs- no way they've got a second great engineer in 5 turns.

I thought that too at first but that can't be it. Even GE's require a turn of construction- in this case the cities don't have the wonder queued up the turn before.

Frustrating!

Using E&D? AI can buy GEs using gold in E&D. Other than that, I don't really have an answer, as I haven't seen this in my tests.
