Bug Reports

The Tech file is from the 18.7.2012, sorry i dont know what version this is.(but its a original file installed on my new pc, at this date)
I have encountered some kind of buges, friendship with ai will end each time after one turn, sometimes you cant choice to puppet a city (seems like a loading bug)
And some minor bugs like this, but no ctd related by cctp, also dont use to often the regenerate button, this will crash your game.:lol:
 
Lol i just managed a good starting position for deity.....
BTW the last patch was very good in avoiding problems.
Its so much easier, with a overworked game, to have fun with it:D

I guess I have something exotic here. :-)

Since the last patch I've encountered CTDs while starting a game with CCTP. Before that, all was fine. First, the crashes occured when the mod was initializing (only CCTP, no other mods). I now downloaded the latest version from Nov 08 and could run a game until the point where I could choose a civilization.

The selection screen lacked game speeds. I looked into advanced setup and there were no civilizations available to choose, CIV told me to select a world size, which I couldn't do either. The CCTP map (FFA) was preselected.

Logs are attached. They seem to complain about game speeds, leader flavors and certain policies not being available.

edit: the logs are from a fresh game with V2 (cache cleared, no other mods), but V3d behaves the same

I had similar issues as above. I couldnt load games or make certain selections etc.
Thanks to others in the forum I figured out how to make it work. Remove all versions of cctp from the civ mods folder. delete the contents of the cache file. I even went to steam workshop and unsubscribed to cctp. Once I did all those things and downloaded version 3 doing manual install etc.. it all seems to be working fine.
Im in turn 400 or so with no issues. Thanks for the help everyone ! Love this mod
 
Thanks, Malice. I've tried that and it works with CCTP Extended, but still not with the standard version. Which is not a problem for me at the time since I wanted to try extended anyway. :-)

btw: I was able to take techs from classical era before finishing ancient in CCTP Extended, started on second lowest difficulty (chieftain), so maybe that's on purpose

That is odd, they are both the same ModInfo files, just pointing at different files/file order.

Yeah I noticed that too, forgot to adjust the max PreReqTechs in defines. I willl update soon, breaks saves.
 
Just a tiny issue which I'm sure you've noticed yourself: turn countdown on tile improvements always show the same number 2.700.000 turns.

Peace treaties and whichever deals accompany them also last only 1 turn.
 
@ Horem: thats weird, Im not using extended cctp just ver 3. But I have noticed the same issue with the huge turn counter and I also cant scroll to the right in the tech tree.
 
Horem, you mentioned a different file order. I don't know how modfiles are organized but as my logs complain about missing game speeds, flavors and such.. Is it possible that somehow the mod is loaded before flavors and game speeds are available?

Still, it seems to work with standard for most people, so I'm not sure about that. And I'm enjoying extended right now. :)
 
Playing extended 1000 - V3d game.... noticed that I do not need to complete 1/3 of the tech from the ancient era before I can research the wheel. Completed Settler and Nomad but none of Spirit and the game allowed me to move directly to the Classical Era and research the wheel.

Also - a minor thing is that you need economy of scale to build a plantation but Calendar still says you can build a plantation once you complete it.... kind of confusing.
 
Some bugs:
1, Declaim of friendship last only 1 turn
2, Peace treaty last forever. (In UI of history completed treaty it shows peace treaty(turn 0))
3, Many diplomacy-related actions end before 30 turns that they should be.
 
Just made it to the industrial age on a huge map with resources set to normal. Resources does that include everything or only strategic? Anyway I control 5.100.000 square kilometers of land and only have 1 source of coal (7 units). Is that normal?
 
* Most specialist related wonders do not provide bonus beaker / hammer / culture per specialist as given in the help
* e.g. AI Core does +1/+1/+1 instead of the promised +1/+5/+5 in the help

I controlled half a map on V3D and did not have any coal or oil, so I feel your pain
 
@Horem, I have reached medieval on marathon speed. Now all of a sudden I cant select new techs to research from the list in the science beaker dropdown. (I could up until now). And since I cant scroll to the right when viewing the tech trees Im going to reach a point soon where I am stuck because I wont be able to select a new research tech. Any ideas on this ? thanks

Remove old versions of your mod and move to v3e posted in the Downloads thread, the workshop version does cause issues that can be attributed to DLC support problems that have since been resolved. Previous GitHub versions were broken by the fall patch.
