Well considering the alternative (factory farming of live animals) I think it's a good thing.

Considering most Americas only eat the muscle meat of farmed animals (rather than all the organs) it makes sense to only grow only that. Why raise a whole animal to live miserably and be slaughtered when you can just grow the desired meat product on it's own with less waste and expense and no loss of life.
 
Wow, I'm surprised I haven't heard anyone say how unethical it is, it's like animal cloning!

Anyways, I'm excited to see the day this will hit the market.

Absolutely awesome. Hopefully in the next decade we can have truely humane meat.
