Update:
Fixed the errors in the civ4traitinfos.xml
Tweaked the traits a little.
Fixed (psGiant Earth Map - Pre-Columbian) A number of civs were set to immortal & deity, so I changed them all to Noble.

What changes specifically? Why did you not detail these changes?

Coz I hadn't done it yet, I was more just thanking them for there help, nvm sorry for confusion.

Update:
Just noticed in game I wrongly put max anarchy to 0 instead of -1 for revolutionary, meaning they have no anarchy. Updated fix to svn. :blush:

edit: aargh its not letting me commit the change, keep being unable to connect to server
 
Monarchy doesn't come with Fixed Borders anymore?
Seems counterintuitive...

Use the Game Set UP Option for Fixed Borders!

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this but.. I'm playing on deity, and in many games the AI seems to be very weak in the prehistoric era. Attached is a save of my latest game, around turn 80. This is with the latest SVN. Notice that my research rate is 2-3 times MORE than the AI's. They're also not building many units and also many of them are just hanging around inside their borders doing nothing, like the german tracker that is in the save. I feel that the deity difficulty in general is not enough of a challenge, this would be a good place to improve it for sure.

Sorry guys, but my internet STILL wont let me upload such a HUGE file, sorry, so i cant get the v28 uploaded, it will have to be someone else, sorry.:blush::(

It needs to be 7Zipped, and uploaded someplace that accepts HUGE files (ModDb) but make sure you'll fill out ALL the required info, all the way to the bottom of the upload page where it says "Save File (or something like that).

Try compressing it with these settings in 7-Zip (except of course for selecting the proper directory).

Update:

-New Gamespeed changes.

Based off of feedback I got during the V27 cycle about the current tech progression speeds I have made a large overhaul to the tech progression. It falls into 3 categories.

  1. Research rates across the board have been decreased. This will make the Prehistoric Era go faster.
  2. The Ancient and Renaissance eras have been increased in length. These were the two places I started to see progression diverge in my own and others' games.
  3. The Classical era has been slightly reduced in length.

Feedback on this as always is welcome in the Balance thread. I'm pretty sure that this should not affect existing games too much, but when you post feedback please tell me if the game was started pre or post V28.

Also when using the image pls "reverse it to the right so as the Knight is fight to the right, got to keep it to the right always when fighting. Thx.

I'll try and see if I can, but as I explained in the PM my schedule for the next few weeks is kinda hectic so I'm making no garauntees. With a bit of luck though I should be able to do it tonight. *crosses fingers*

Also, the release revision is going to be 4681 (with DH's tweaks) and NOT 4680.

Ok. 4681 is what I will update the MP game SVN with then.
