but alot of Canadian pilots were excellent during ww2

i don't know, i agree rome=italy but when i think of Mexico i think of more a spanish/native mix- not Aztecs who were wiped off the face of the earth- genocidal like-don't think the romans suffered such a complete wipe out. Course the Iroquois sufferred a similiar fate....maybe ur right

as i know, hittites were very religious. how do i know this?
the only crime that death penalty was given was religious crimes. even you kill a king, you could have a chance to save your life, but noone could steal a dirt from a temple.. then you would say bye bye to your momma.. (stone writings tell that)

with the unique unit a chariot ( i know egyptians have it) but needs iron and/or powerful on defence.. (hittites were the "iron man", the best iron workers of that time were that of hittites.)

Seeing that your are from there, what UU and wonders do you think that the hittites should have?
I think Muwatallis ll for leader, and maybe some sort of iron works as a city improvement unique to the hittites and a improved swordsmen as the UU.

Maybe ur right, they could be the Canadian UU but u can only build 5 and then u have to disband them. How about the Cf 100
Canuck. At least it was actually produced and Belgium bought some. But i change my mind, maybe a good UU would be a mountain man-or is that American? At any rate, a mountain man that is like an explorer but has an attack and defense.

I say Canadian UU should be something that replaces Infrantry. Simply due to our soilders in WW1(Ypres and Vimy Ridge) and in WW2(can't think of anything truly special that compares to Ypres and vimy Ridge)

Kinda curious as to what sorta UU Dutch or Porteguese would have. A galleon or some sorta fighting vessel?

For new civs I would like to see old Isreal, Byzantines, Huns, Songhai, and the Khmer.They could have stats such as the following:

Isreal - Rel/Ind - Soloman - Isreali Mercenary(2/2/1) instead of archer.

Byzantines - Com/Rel - Justinian - Cataphracti(4/4/2) instead of knight(could have a special ability of some kind - I'll leave that up to you guys)

Huns - Mil/Exp - Attila - Tarkan(2/1/3)instead of horseman

Songhai - Com/Rel - Sunni Ali - ???

Khmer - Rel/Mil - ??? - ???

I think these civs deserve major recognition and a couple would fill out a world map nicely, like the Songhai and Khmer.

Who are the Songhia and Khmer? And, how do you pronounce "Khmer"?

A thought on the Cataphract- make them a 4/5/2 with a DEFENSIVE bombard the same as that of a catapult- the flip side, they cost twice as much as a standerd knight, or perphaps only a knight, and half again as much would be better to build.

This woul dre-create they fact that they were the best troops in the world at the time, but eventulally the lengthy training time, and expensivness to maintain led to decreasing numbers, which were eventually drowned out out by overwellminglly massive numbers of arab warriors

byzantines were the new romans, they were basically the romans except they lasted 1000 yars longer and were stronger.

For Canadian UU I would say - Canadian Mounted Police. If you see one, you imidiatly think Canada

For Portuguese I would say a better privateer or caravel.
For the Dutch a faster galleon with offencive power (more expensive)

I agree that if Canada, by some amazing miracle, were to actually be included, their UU should be a Infantry unit. Canadian infantry during the First and Second World Wars gained a reputation among the Allies as durable stormtroopers during Vimy Ridge, Ypres, Passchaendale, Normandy, etc. through their campaigns throughout France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
