C3C PBEM - Age of Discovery - 'Colombo'

What's this? My most trusted servant (whom I was soooooo kind to hand the key to the kingdom) dares ask me for more time???? King Sercer is not pleased at all. Surely you have figured out that I was an impatient King, have you not??

...oh...SHOOT! I'm not good at being mean :) By all means, Blaze, do your thing.

(any harm caused to Blaze Injun's fame by me calling him a "servant" is hereby rendered useless because of this statement...um...sure, yeah.)

I sure am glad to be back.

(oh, and, I know: King Sercer doesn't sound very British, does it now?)

Welcome Back Sercer...a lot has transpired since you played last! I think Blaze did a fantastic job filling in and more!
I hope we can be in another PBEM where you are a full-fledged player!

Serce...you may have noticed we are on hold with our game. Not quite sure when we will be starting up again??

Thank you, thank you. :hatsoff:

I'll be working on that PBEM idea.

Serce...you may have noticed we are on hold with our game. Not quite sure when we will be starting up again??

Sully

This might explain the pace of the game.

Edit: P.S. I'd like to keep playing this scenario, it's my favorite one at the moment, but I've given Sully my password so I can be replaced if I hold things up.

Limited time and access to play Civ from around the 10th to the 24th. Packing my bags and moving to Australia!

Well I got one more turn so I'll say goodbye then. :groucho:

Oh man, I'm so sorry guys. I can't believe I didn't send the save. I'll have to reply, I don't even have my old computer with me. Well... at least I'm back. :D

Sorry again. Will play in a few mins.

OK, GPS

Had to replay. The sixteen pikemen are still there. *sigh*

The ROP with England is still on. But no sending settlers through our land! ;)

Hey,

GPS to Sully.

Well I played my last turn and have sent Sercer88 a detailed
& very picture filled report. I hope you will keep the post reports
interesting. Be nice to see the Captians names instead of
ship names. :groucho:

I'll be following this till the end.

Good Luck to all.

Hope I can enjoy any of your company in a future PBEM.

@qummik You will need sercer88's email.

Blaze Injun

Yes, thanks to Blaze Injun, I'm sure I'll find everything in workable order at worst :goodjob:

do you still have my email from last spring, qummik?

Spainish Turn

Word of a Barbarian Uprising in the North of the Americas reached Spainish Settlements in NA. Conquistadors begin training manuvers in preparation of possible Barbarian activity!

Sorry for the delay, Sully and I played hot-potato with the save. ;)

GPS. Other than the 32 pikemen  bearing down on one of our colonies in southern Africa, nothing to report...

Barbarian camp found in North African desert

and I guess I have to mention that a regiment of Infantry attacking the Iroquois Capitol of Salamanca has done significant damage to the defenders, but all the men eventually perished :(

GPS

I'm at a loss to explain what happened in southern Africa... All the enemy pikemen are gone. Our colony has two red-lined, elite defenders. :worship:

There was a river between the colony and the attackers, but still. I counted 32 of them. Perhaps their leaders fell and the rest disbanded into the desert. :crazyeye:

I've attached intel for the English, 3 archers and 2 spearmen outside Salamanca.

Portugal requests that all Catholic ships leave it's territorial waters unless they wish their ships to be seized/sunk.

The state will also accept bids on the tech of Fortifications.
