C3C PBEM - Age of Discovery - 'Colombo'

You know I realize that it wasn't really spelled out on what should be posted as to the results of our moves???

Do we want to continue to remain vague? Or should we post things like new cities, battles, agreements between countries???

I'll be playing the turn later today.

Is that a threat to English Sovereignty??? I will act accordingly. Oh, and yes, there will be many VP's for me if someone were to do such a thing...:groucho:

IMO, unless it is a battle between us, we don't have to post. Agreements should definitely be posted (MA, and ROP with humans) and I really don't care, and wouldn't mind if we were to post other 20 turn deals between humans. Everything else can be whether you want to or not.

IMO there is no harm in giving information on events in your turn, even embelishment is acceptable. Given yearly game turns it is the equivilent of tales told by sailors of lands far away.

Was just finding out how everyone sees this. Not sure there is total agreement. I suppose there is no rule that states we have to post anything other than what we want to. Vague is Cool! And my dear Counterpart...Certainly no disrespect was implied towards the Magnificant English!

Hostiles in the New World at every turn!

what's with the 16: it's actually turn 15!

A wandering explorer comes back home (not really, but how else could this story be told...) and tells of his adventures in the new world. One of his tales tell of a huge monument out in the middle of nowhere! No signs of civilzation even remotely near the tall stone monument! He tells the Grand English that they must think about settling near there to help our empire out!

I probably bumped the turn number incorrectly before.:crazyeye:

Well, I've sent along T16a this time.
Not your fault botman  I incorrectly named the file passed on, though you need to change the year as well as the turn number in future the file is now T16b_Colombo_1506_AD.SAV
When you pass on the next file it should be T17a_Colombo_1507_AD.SAV I think

My there are a lot of ships off southern Spain :scan:

First I'd like to say how refreshing it is to play a PBEM game that moves so quickly! It really keeps my level of interest up!

Greetings to our French brethern on the island of Cuba! A very impressive Gold mine to be sure!!!

And Greetings to fellow Dutch Seafarers traversing South of Spain. We extend a ROP offer.

GPS to the Dutch.

GPS, we gratefully accept Spain's offer of a ROP.

Nothing further to report.

Erm, I'm a bit confused about something though. Can settlers not found new towns on forest tiles?
