Just so I'm clear before my turn..which nations declared war on Spain when Spain changed religions??
Actually...I also need to ask...If I'm not mistaken..since Spain and Portugal switched to Protestantism..are there any Catholic nations?
If there isn't then Spain's switched should not have prompted a war with non Catholic nations???
Peace with England, Portugal, France...leaves the Dutch if I'm correct!

So History is turned upside down as Spain & Potugal become Protestant whilst Holland & England remain staunchly Catholic![]()
Spain was suppose to declare on at least England when you changed governments.
House Rule
07b. If two Catholic nations have an agreement (MPP, MA, ROP) and one of them changes the Government, the nation that changed the Government must declare war on the other to break the agreement.
Check your military advisor. He has your answer to religions.
So to be fair. You should have declared on England & the Dutch. And I should have not given Spain peace. England should have worked war weariness on you.
England will remember the "Ask Spain if you want to sail into the Gulf of Mexico" words.
The question was meant to afford England Special Privilege
How dare you tell a Englishman were he can sail!!!![]()
Again it was in the interest of cooperation the offer was extended...
Spain believes in a "Paper War". Think of it as a "Paper Peace".![]()
Spain requests that the Great Seafaring nation of England accept that a State of Peace exist between our two nations?![]()

Spain attempts to resume its peaceful intentions.

GPS, nothing to report.
As far as I know, peace exists between the Dutch and Spanish, even if relations were suspended.
