If we are now true allies and this means a REAL trade tech sharing you'd give me colonisation without asking anything in return... am I wrong? This can be the first proof of trust. I am researching colonization so if you'd give me that I could go for Piracy.

One other thing we could do would be to divide the North world so that at least we both don't stress in competing for settling. The Dutch might be in the way but there could be a first obstacle for our Girlie Power Alliance to overcome...

If we are to gift techs it should be even as well ... with both partners researching at the same level ... I gift you Colonisation ... and will wait for Piracy ... In return, I'd like to discuss our Wine trade ... can I have it for free ... so could you send me 3 gold per turn ... this way it will not interrupt the current trade. I will send you Tobacco later when I have it connected if you still need it as you have a source North in the radius of Louisburg.

Maps... yes, we should trade world maps. I meant to send it this turn but I forgot (I had 10 PBEM .sav on my inbox). Hopefully I'll remember next turn.

I built those cities near the Aztecs to try and stop the Spanish but I plan to build a few cities up North
as this is faster than going all the way to almost Central America. But maybe I can have the North North (West of my northern cities) and then the central area near the Aztec.

Rivals - I agree with your 'veto' policy. So if only both agree one trade should be done. But I think this
should be for all kinds of trade.

My biggest concern is the Spanish. In the short-term we might have to deal with the Dutch, but in the
long-run I think is the Spanish who gathers the best range of skills to win the game.

I built those cities near the Aztecs to try and stop the Spanish but I plan to build a few cities up North
as this is faster than going all the way to almost Central America. But maybe I can have the North North (West of my northern cities) and then the central area near the Aztec.

Rivals - I agree with your 'veto' policy. So if only both agree one trade should be done. But I think this should be for all kinds of trade.

My biggest concern is the Spanish. In the short-term we might have to deal with the Dutch, but in the long-run I think is the Spanish who gathers the best range of skills to win the game.
