Capto Iugulum: Empires and Nations

OOC: Just to clarify, I worded my orders wrong, it wasn't my intention to send all my trade through Stettin. In fact, virtually all of the are that rebelled would still be trading through Denmark and and the Netherlands. I accidentally said "all trade into the Baltic through Stettin," while I meant "all Baltic bound trade through Stettin." So, only trade already going into the Baltic Sea was intended to be sent through Stettin.

To Brandenburg and Hanover
From Austria:

The Kingdom of Austria hereby recognizes the independence of Hanover. Like Denmark we are also issuing a guarantee of their independence and will aid Hanover against any foe which wishes to interfere with Hanover's sovereignty.

Bavaria will also make it known that they are also recognizing Hanover's independence alongside our Austrian allies.

Treaty of Stettin
1. The Kingdom of Brandenburg will recognize the independent Kingdom of Hanover, alongside the Kingdom of Denmark, the Empire of Sweden, Paris-Burgundy, and the Republic of the Netherlands.

2. The Kingdoms of Brandenburg, Denmark and Hanover will join the Northern League.

3. As a member of the Northern League, Hanover will agree to maintain equal trade rates for all League members including the Kingdom of Brandenburg.

4. The signatories agree to recognize current, and future, League trade rates and League decisions in regards to all matters within.

5. In doing so, the signatories agree to amend the treaty as needs must at times in future.

Signed, Christina the Second of Her Name, Queen-Empress of Sweden and Its Territories

Denmark and Hanover accept the Treaty of Stettin.

All right, I'd like to start the rest of this post by saying that I've gone through a major cleanup of stats and so forth, doing the manpower, and all that's done. The stats on the front page have been updated. This also included some increases in Imperial and National Administration stats, which you may want to take into account. A few other minor tweaks have been made here and there, which should be rather irrelevant since they were all done to NPCs. Now here's the good part.

I've once more created some nice power ratings for ya'll to ogle over. Now, I'd like to remind all of you that these reflect the public perception of the nations, not the actual legitimate power that you could bring to bear. Therefore some nations may in actual practical terms may be overrated, and others underrated. The number provided is the scientifically calculated rating taking into account navies, armies, and the overall economy of your nation.

Poland recognizes Hannover's independence, although it is likely unnecessary at this point in time.

I would just like to say I'm really liking how the Papal States have turned out under my guidance, i.e., a theocratic Frankenstein's monster state that could potentially become a regional power, if played right. Seems that's one place I didn't screw up. :D

It was Requested that I do a "Great Eight" for Army and Navy. Definitely not doing the full list though.

To Hanover:
The Dutch Republic hereby officially recognizes the Kingdom of Hanover, our ambassadors will be entering Hannover in the next year to normalize relations between our countries.

I know it's only been less than a day since I posted the update, but get orders in quickly this time! I've really feeling the NES groove at the moment, and want to get this done while I'm in the zone.

You can pretty much repeat my orders, will still send in some anyway.

That sounds good, since the old orders are all deleted now.

This is the 48 hour warning.

Beyond that, it's once again time for audience participation! As some of you may be aware Elder Scrolls: Skyrim is coming on November 11. This WILL absorb a lot of my time and energies, of that I can assure you. Therefore, I'd like to propose getting done three updates between now and then. Most of you get orders in the last 48 hours before an update regardless, so in theory, this should not be much of a difficulty.

The first of these three updates is the upcoming one (already a good 20% done just from completing the random and stability events) and it should actually be posted on Thursday evening.

This will be followed with an order deadline on the 6th, with the update being posted on the 7th.

Lastly, the third update deadline would be the 9th, followed by being posted on the 10th.

So I ask all of you, is this manageable to you, as players?
