The people of the Holy Land have spoken and have shown their wish to be a part of the Arabian Empire. War will continue.

To the Arabian empire
To whom have they have spoken? you continue to spout unbacked lies. while the possibility dose exist, we find it doubtful they wish this. we are willing to back off though, if you instead agree to the following terms, though we find it extremely doubtful you will. the offered reparations remain.

1: the UK, US, and Brazil oversees a plebiscite in the holy land, among ALL those living there, to determine if they join you, or form their own nation subordinate to you, or form a completely independent nation. both of us will abide by it.
2: should they chose to join you, you grant that all pilgrims to the holy land are granted safe and peaceful passage, as long as they remain peaceful themselves. Brazil, UK, and the US, agree to act to insure that you will abide with this with any action they deem necessary. Persia will Not act unless those three nation constantly refuse to try and reign you in.

Like we said, we simply do not trust you. you have shown you will kill our citizens at the drop of a hat even in times of peace. the UK and the US have shown they are honorable in their actions.

Excerpt from Leaves on the Vine by Miho Hitori

Pg 143.

... dwelling upon this war. The battle lines strike me as curious. They move and flow like waves coming in from the sea, and nothing but the dirt can withstand the flowing powers. And when I look at my own men, I no longer see soldiers, but leaves upon a vine. They live and grow along these battle lines, and then, like leaves in the autumn, die with every charge, and fall so slowly. They drift down into the seas of war, and are like tiny, fragile shells, drifting in the foam. They drift, and are crushed until they are like the dirt beneath our feet. I wonder more and often how quickly autumn is approaching, and if I will live to see the leaves fall again....

The Trench

The mud is deep. Tomas was wounded in a raid and we laid him down to rest. Then we went for the evening stand to. When we returned, Tomas had drowned.

I can't hear half the time what my comrades are speaking. I just nod and speak when they stop, and I guess that is what they do when I speak. It is more of practicing your mouth than listening to the words.

We're going over the top again.

The scythe of death is relentless. And we, but more than tools on his assembly line, are cut done one by one.

Having sated his fill of our blood, it let us retreat.

Jacques was shot in hip. A nurse ran out to save him, her brightly printed cross obscured by the countless stains of blood.

Just as she reached him, the whine of a distant shell reaches up. The ground erupted and groaned in a shower of mud.

When the dust cleared, both Jacques and the nurse was gone.

Lafayette chuckled and took out a cigarette and lit it. He let me light mine from his match. Darren reached over to light his. He took a breath in, a plump face full of smoke. Then the face was gone, and instead there is a skull, a skull with a hole in it. It shuddered and then fell.

Almost, as if an after thought, came the crack of a sniper rifle.

To: Persia
From: The Glorious Arabian Empire

We suggest the Persian Empire(the so called champion of democracy it seems) put its money where its mouth is and offer plebiscites to the Afgan, Khazak, Kurdish, Baluchi and so on regions within the Persian Empire. Do this and we may think about your suggestion of a plebescite within our Empire.

Persia does not trust the Arabian Empire? We would recall that it was Persia who over 50 years ago funded rebellion throughout the Mamluk Caliphate of which we are the successor state. We recall Persia's uncalled for attack on our nation not even 20 years ago. We further recall the sinking of Arabian military warships at the start of the decade by Persian radicals of which evidence suggests was sponsored by the Persian Government. We are now embroiled in a war with Persia. A war that was initiated by Persia. Whatever trust issues Persia has with the Arabian Empire were bought on by Persia's own actions.

War will continue until Persia sees the folly of its ways.

Flanders applauds the beginning of the end of this war, though out of humanitarian concern we request some clarification regarding whether all citizens of the Continental Powers living in areas now under Allied administration will be assured the option of free and safe passage back to their respective home countries, and freedom from forced or coerced migration, as this is not explicitly spelled out in the language of the Treaty of the Tuileries. Flanders is willing to provide ships for the transport of uprooted citizens as well, should there be a need for them.

Edit: Thanks Grandkhan, I meant for the movement to be optional, but forgot to say that clearly.

Denmark notes that during its ownership of Njord-Nedersachsen and Schleswig-Holstein, no Germans were forcibly evicted from their homes and deported to Brandenburg. We expect as a sign of good faith that under Brandenburger rule, the Danes currently living in these territories will be granted full rights to stay in their homes and experience no discrimination against them based on ethnicity.

To: Flanders

Now that the war is over hopefully our two nations can grow closer, we see many potential economic agreements in our future that may benefit both our people!

To: Netherlands

We agree, and feel that a Free Trade Agreement would be a great first step to strengthening ties.

To: Flanders, Republic of the Netherlands
From: United States of America

A free-trade agreement between Flanders and the Netherlands is a violation of Flemish neutrality (for after all wasn't Flemish assistance with the Panama Canal also a violation of neutrality?).

Brandenburg will give every inhabitant of of Njord-Nedersachsen and Schleswig-Holstein the opportunity to become citizens of Brandenburg as per Article I, Section III, Subsection Vb. Paragraph 9 of our Constitution, due to the circumstances of the situation. We will be offering compensation of any Dane who desires to move back to Denmark, and we will purchase any property they have in Brandenburg territory.

From: The Republic of The Netherlands

We have already participated in many past agreements, the Major one being the Dutch Cultural and Language union, which if a simple Free Trade agreement violates Dutch neutrality, then the Cultural union surely does, and no one complained when it was announced.

Edit -

To: The USA, Japan

We would also like assurances that any citizens of our colonies being turned over to you (The Antilles and China respectfully) will be allowed free transit to return to the Dutch homeland, along with compensation to these individuals should they own any land. While if they wish to stay they should be treated as well as any other citizens.

Denmark agrees to these terms, and thanks Brandenburg for its good faith in dealing with such sensitive matters of policy such as ethnicity and residence.

We also request that any deal struck with the Dutch residents of formerly Dutch China and the Antilles also be made to the Danish residents of Danish China, Korea, and Oranjien, that is, any Danish citizen in Danish China, the Danish Korean Concession, and Oranjien be allowed free transit to Denmark and compensation for their land, or, if they stay, equal status as any other resident in the area.

TO: The Republic of the Netherlands
FROM: The Empire of Japan

We will guarantee their fair treatment and any reasonable compensation. If anything should befall them before they leave, we will guarantee compensation to their next-of-kin. We hope though, that the majority of your citizens accompany your armies as we assist in their transition to the East Indies.

To: the USA

Both circumstances and the general attitudes of the Flemish government towards the nature of our neutrality and our role in the world have changed in recent years. Should the US or any government offer an opportunity for mutual advantage through a project or an agreement, the Flemish government will give the proposal due consideration.
