as to those responsible for the ships, the corpses of the few we could find, with the help of your investigators, were delivered to our border for your disposal. If you believe we did not do a through investigation we would be more then willing to let a third party like the UK come in and reopen it.

still, our reasonable compromise are likely to be ignored by you completely. we can only hope your allies prove more reasonable and abandon your cause. which is only slightly more likely.

To make our intentions in Italy a bit more clear, we wish to highlight that our support for the Papacy is all but being withdrawn after this year. Our forces have been stationed strategically around Rome, and will begin a complete withdrawel within the next year, as part of a larger plan to protect Italy from the reactionary regime that installed itself in Naples. We are not trying to crush Italian Nationalism. More over, at this juncture, under the rule of the Italian Republic, we support it, and it is our intention to hand over large tracts of Venetia to the Republic within the next few years. Austria signs a 5 year NAP with Brandenburg, so long as it, and it's allies keep with the articles of The Treaty of Tuileries that include it. This NAP is to be reviewed, and more than likely resigned upon the end of the 5 year time period.
