You're grasping at straws here. S&M is not just about pain to expierence sexual pleasure (you do realise that pain does cause sexual arousal biologically when it comes to certain parts of the body)
An important factor to S&M is about power relationships, it mentions that he was the one that got flogged, generally that means he is willing to be the submissive in an S&M relationship which contrasts with your statement about him being agressive and actively violnet. Also S&M is consensual and part of his private life and seperate from what happens in his public life.
I fail to see how he is at fault.

I never said he was at fault. However, I remain suspecious of a person who says such things and routinely goes to S&M clubs. Not really my picture of a model citizen. By the way, in such cases, large parts of your private life do indeed have bearing in the case if they indicate some type of abhorrent or strange behavior. Attending S&M clubs is most definitly not something your average citizen participates in.

How do you spot a Satanist?

Well, in this case they have blue hair, dark makeup, black fingernails and wear inverted cross jewelry and tell everyone they hate christians, jews and islamists.

To me, that would indicate a certain proclivity or desire for violence, active or passive. I do not find it beyond the realm of possiblity that a person who frequents such a place to have instigated such a situation in order to experience pain for his own purposes.

Personally, I think people who get sexual satisfaction from inflicting or receiving pain quite disturbed. The fact that this person frequents such clubs, in his own words, "to work out his anger" makes me question just how much of a victim/innocent he is.

Personally, I'd suggest that, just as you are more familiar with an Army NCO lifestyle, Silver and I are more familiar with BDSM lifestyles, and just as you'd likely react to a broad generalization of soldiers as bloodthirsty Rambo wannabes, we're going to react to a broad generalization of BDSMers as "quite disturbed" or having "a certain proclivity or desire for violence".

No, your average citizen does it at home instead.

I realy do not have an honest answer for that. One realy cannot go by the generalized stereotype of a Satanist.

2. I am actualy uncomfortable with Satanism due because of it's worship and reconition of Satan.

Very few Satanist sects recognise what you would call 'Satan'. Maybe this fellow was in that minority, but in general, most Satanists don't worship 'Satan'.

Are you alleging that BDSM behavior is a societal norm in the USA?;)

I think you would have an extremely tough time proving that one.:D

The look could be a Goth, or a Hard fan...

So if the average citizen doesn't do it - it must be weird and we must be suspicious towards it?

Totally! How would you feel if you met someone who never jaywalked (even when it was safe/clear) on principle?
