CFC.com - The MES/NES

Exactly, so if I didn't include it in my stats, I would have it. Since most of the items in my stats are for thematic purposes and don't do anything (even the cell phones. I don't think alternate earths use AT&T services), I should have them.

Especially the newspaper clippings and the tarot cards that is something essential to Jack's character.

So I would like for the Tarot Cards and the Newspaper Clippings to be retroactively added into Jack's inventory unless anyone can think of any practical use for them. I mean, I can kind of see the argument for Tarot cards, but I can't understand why I can't have a newspaper clipping. I can't even use it to scribble notes on it because it's already written on.

Otherwise, I'll just ask for the update to be rewritten so that Jack uses magic to divine the future for practice... and it will be kind of pointless.

@everyone: yes, you can already post your actions. The next turn will be awaking (that is not an action) and the preparations for the landing on the first timeline, including getting all the information on it and what must be done. Thus, I'd say it would just be 1 Action to get ready, plus attending the meeting, eating something and boarding the shuttle (Jade can just say "board and pilot the shuttle) to go down.

@Seon: if you had read the first post carefully, specifically the part where the Character Creation is made, as well as the comments I made to other players, you would have known that you could only have 2 Items initially. Not my fault. If you want the Newspaper Clipping and the Tarot Cards, then you will lose your kitten and the lockpick. I don't do "retroactive adding", sorry. If you don't like it, then check your own sig's second line (BTW, you should change the 'y' and the 'r' around). If you prefer to keep what you have right now (lockpick and kitten) then I'm willing to allow your character to attempt divine the future without the cards.

Order: Train Kung Fu to be ready for the possible enemies of the first timeline.
Order: Eat breakfast
Order: Board that shuttle

Nicholas woke up with a splitting headache, obviously a side effect of his drinking last night. He was used to it, as he did something similar every single night. He knew that the proverbial hair of the dog will fix the problem, so he pulled out another bottle of Vodka and took a swig.

"Now," he said "for captainly duties." Nicholas smashed an empty bottle of Vodka against one of the bunks, waking everyone up.

"Rise and shine, comrades!" said Nicholas cheerfully "It is time for us to hunt down these Capatalist Acbee Pigs and protect the workers of the multiverse!" There were a few grumbles from some of the members of the crew, but Nicholas knew that this was the proper and Captainly thing to do.

"Remeber to have a hearty breakfast!" said Nicholas "It is the most important meal of the day, helping you become effective workers for the good of society!" Nicholas then went off to eat some breakfast and, of course, drink more Vodka. Then he went to the armoury and found his beloved AK-47. With that in his possesion, he went off to find that man, he seemed to know what was going on.

Action: Drink Vodka then wake everyone up.
Action: Eat breakfast and drink more Vodka.
Action: Find my AK-47.
Action: Find the man and ask him what we need to do, then do what he says.

Meh, I was writing some nightmare about the past RP to wake up, but alas. :p

Action: Train with the sword for a while
Action: have breakfast
Action: Go to the briefing.
Action: Board the goddamn shuttle. :p

"No whiskey anywhere? I can fix that!"

Action: Turn some of the Vodka into Whiskey
Action: Eat breakfast
Action: Go to the briefing
Action: Board the shuttle

My sig is a copy paste :p

Take away the Lockpick and add the Tarot card then.

I still don't get why newspaper clipping counts as an item. Can I make it so that it's part of my armor then? It's taped onto the inside of his longcoat and is thus unremovable.

Meh, I was writing some nightmare about the past RP to wake up, but alas. :p

You could always involve the glass smashing as part of the nightmare. I have had nightmares about stuff that was going on outside before. :p

Neil flopped out of the bunk at the sound of the breaking bottle and reached for his rifle.

"Wha?! Are bandits raiding the camp again? Oh right I'm not in constant danger of being eaten and/or killed whenever I sleep."

Muttering to himself, "I knew I should of gone to the other bunk."

Neil stumbled off to the mess hall hoping for better food than what he was used to.

Actions:
Eat breakfast and do other morning "duties"
Train with rifle (target acquisition not shooting)
Head to the briefing
Get in shuttle

Severus wakes up in reaction to the smashing glass, and immediately dives for his gun from force of habit - in the Imperial Guard, smashing glass meant either attack for an unruly drunk soldier. Both problems require bullets to solve. He regains his control, and awakes.

Action: Have breakfast.
Action: Train swordsman skill.
Action: head to briefing.
Action: Board the Shuttle.

Bah, I guess I'll scope out the ship later.

Unbeknownst to Major Nicholas, the bunk bed he had smashed the glass bottle against was Arco's. The engineer woke up to broken glass flying above, just barely missing his face. This, combined with what felt like an almost non-stop chorus of "Oi Moroz, Moroz" last night while he was trying to concentrate on the ship drives, helped convince Arco that Vodka was, despite the Major's arguments otherwise, a very bad thing.
------------------------------------------------------
Action: Plot the downfall of Vodkarism while eating a healthy and delicious breakfast.
Action: Gather up equipment and weapons from storage.
Action: Support the meeting with a fair amount of cynicism.
Action: Board the shuttle or something.

Jade, who was already up at the time, paid no attention to the bottle getting smashed. With McCarthy around, smashing bottles was a guarantee. Still, it signaled that it was time to get things done. She wondered if her standard issue rifle was in the armory. She hoped she wouldn't have to fight, but it was always good to have just in case.

Action: Find equipment.
Action: Train a bit with the rifle.
Action: Head to meeting.
Action: Board that shuttle, yo.

Marcus woke up from his nightmare, to realize that the siren he was hearing was only the alarm clock set on his helmet, which lay right next to his head. Turning it off, he arose and got off to what he needed.
Actons:
  • Eat breakfast and get ready for the day
  • Same exersise he did the night before
  • Head to the briefing
  • Board that shuttle
