OOC:Chapter 1 in post #320
Take it from here.

IC:

Ian:

Shall we head to the Thunderhammer Smithy? I must say I'm feeling rather uneasy without weapons.

IC:

Ahh, bright day; i feel as tho i am ready to start this adventure.

We should eat what's left on the table from last night's meal and then go to the smithy to prepare for our journey.

OOC

I can have a pet :D

IC

*Wanders downstairs into the main tavern
"Morning chaps. I see there's still food for breakfast."
*Starts munching the food*

IC:
"'ning. Coffee?!
...
[a mug of coffee later:]
Had a strange dream last night. I might have learned a new spell during it. Let's finish breakfast and then head over to ol' Thunderhammer.
[grabs some fruits]
"

IC:

Ian: Well, I'm tired of waiting. I'll meet you guys at the Smithy.

[Ian leaves and walks to the smithy]

IC:
"Follows them"

OOC:
Unless anything special happens on the way to the smithy, let's just skip forward to the point when we are there and about to make our purchase.

IC:

Ahem ... we are a PARTY now remember; so we can't go separately, i'll carry Oskar with us. He'll wake up on the way.

[drags Oskar to the smithy] (i have 16 STR ya know - i can drag him all the way to the smithy :D)

EDITED because of crosspost

IC:

Ian:

Well guys, I'm after a nice dagger, a shortbow, some light armour and some throwing daggers. Shouldn't break the bank by any means.

OOC:

Is there any other equipment a thief should really have in 2nd edition?

IC

@Nicolas/Heretic: Good plan cleric, bring the member with the money!
@Ian/Truronian: I can't see my needs breaking the bank either. Some basic weapons and armour - the longbow will probably be the most expensive item there. Of course I wouldn't have to do this if I could remember where I stashed my old weapons. *Sighs

OOC:
In Baldur's Gate, Thunderhammer had a "Shadow Armor"(+XX to hide in shadows) and a cool dagger, whose name escapes me at the moment. Both were hideously expensive, though. (about 15k each)

IC: When he'll wake up, we'll just tell him we teleported him to the smithy. :mischief:
OCC: btw heretic is also my title in the game, so you can call me Heretic.
IC:

I'll need a Flail, but if that's to expensive a Mace would do. And a Sling ... i reckon that's cheap.
Some basic armor would do ...

OCC: we should wait for our Game Master to post some prices and stats before we decide ...

OOC: Sorry guys I was out of town yesterday for my grand-mother's funeral so I was not able to update.

We will take this from the Smithy but Ill uptade all of that tonight because my price lists is at home and I have to go to work.

:)

@Till : Im no using the exact stock the merchants had in the game but the smithy will have some special items. :)
