yeah... i actually meant BG2 but i forgot to add the critical 2, kinda got wrapped up watching Stephen Kings Graveyard Shift.... odd movie
I would get both, if you can. They are usually offered in a bundle these days!

OCC: so let's go then. Do we have to wait for the party leader to go ?

IC: So be it. I doubt the mayor would appreciate if we forced our way in. Let's see if the one in Nashkel is more receptive.

IC:

Ian: I agree, I'd rather not pay for the dubious honour of getting to work for the mayor.

OOC: Ill probably only be able to update tomorrow morning. so Ill take it from where you are at right now
:)

IC:

Perhaps we should wait for tomorrow morning before we set off. It's already late afternoon, and traveling by night doesn't sound like a good idea. We could track down that bum and see if he'd care to buy us a drink . . .

hmmm.... sucks to be evil, for some reason they're always the flawless ones, cant even drink

OOC: Sorry guys I've been away from the computer in the last 4 days.

Ill take it from Ummmmm.....'s last post.

*When the party decides what to do, in front of the Mayor's house, The two guards were discussing on how cheap you guys are for not paying the guards 200GP.
The Mayor opens the door and interrupts the two Guards talking.*

Beregost Mayor: (to the Guards) What!!! .... I've been wondering why no one has come to help me. You damn guards are always trying to make a easy penny. This is the last time this happens!
You two are going to be guarding the outskirts of Nashkel in the next few days when I find 2 replacement guards.

*The mayor looks like a fairly rich guy. He looks pissed at the guards for asking you guys 200GP to see him*

*The mayor notices you guys in front of his house.*

Beregost Mayor: (to the party) Are you guys here to run errands? If so come on in and Ill explain what I want you guys to do. Don't mind the Guards, they will be leaving for their new duties very very soon.

*The Mayor is waiting for a answer*

It is now near the end of the day. (6:00PM) and you see the townfolks preparing to get home and locking their doors.

OOC: Take it from here! :)

IC:
Howdy!
I'm Glappo, this the Elminster's Errand Squad. We're a newly formed group of 6 with diverse talents. Let's get down to business!

@Glappo/Perf: A mayor who can't select reliable guards? Be careful with this one.

IC:

Beregost Mayor: Mr Glappo, Glad to see your group would like to help me. Come on in. Ill be waiting in my office.

And Mr. ranger I could not help overhearing you, do not worry about the guards, they were appointed to me by the Guards counsil in Baldur's gate. Some of them are the best in the buisness but some of them are just plain scum.

*The guards look frustrated*

IC:
Nice to meet you mr. mayor.
[enters office]

So what's this errand you were talking about ?

IC:
@ Mayor: Glad to finally meet you, sir. I must say i'm impressed by how you managed to train these apes at the front door to talk. Are they housebroken?

OOC: I'll update this evening :)

IC:

*Sigur : Glad to finally meet you, sir. I must say i'm impressed by how you managed to train these apes at the front door to talk. Are they housebroken?*

Beregost Mayor: I specifcaly asked for guards with a IQ that was a little bit higher than 10. But that way they are smart enough to try to rip off strangers. The ones I'll order tonight will be non-speaking grunts.

Now (to the party) take a seat ill talk to you about what I need done.
