I don't buy that man, why on Earth would a working class man be in favour of immigration like you are. They're competition for people like us, a middle class person I can understand immigrants aren't in the running for the same jobs. Then there's that whole narrative about how they're so happy to be here, they do the crap jobs their own underclass won't do while we of course expect some decency while working. The immigrants don't know any better.
What reason do you have to support it? You have a thing for foreign men? You own stock in a company that employs alot of immigrants?

Who has convinced you people immigration a moral issue? Who told you this? Was it some teacher in school? I mean you haven't even attempted to explain it.
It's an economic issue for a start
Economics has no inherent implications on human behavior. It only does once you assign specific values to aspects of economics. Which makes those implications extraneous to economics.
For instance, you can decide to be selfish, racist or a national chauvinist, and then dress that up as economics to make yourself seem more rational and objective.

No, it's just that you can't move straight from the economic facts to a course of action. Even if GDP would go up if we stopped giving healthcare for chronic conditions and put the unemployed into workhouses, we still shouldn't do it.

I wasn't talking about them, but yes, they are rather silly at first glance in a "never going to really catch on" sort of way.
What do you even mean "address you"? This is not a personal issue, and unlike you I have no interest in turning it into one.
You just posited that acting selfishly is the only possible stance to take with regard to immigration. I simply pointed out that other people might take a different moral stance (i.e. a moral stance to begin with), and for instance think that a foreigner has just as much right to pursue a happy and successful life in a given country as someone who is born here. I can't speak for useless here of course.
And by the way, the way I see it, if anything resentment against minorities such as immigrants is a convenient tool by the wealthy to distract you from the actual reasons behind economic inequality. For all your emphasis on the lower class you seem to be awfully eager to direct your resentment against people who are in the same situation as you are.
