Great argument Visor, only you didn't make any arguments. Sorry for not posting, I'm on my vacation and it seems this place is further from civilization than I thought.
I would be inclined to vote for the lurkers but why do you vote yourself for battle Bsmith? You aren't under any pressure or anything... Do you know that you'll win for some reason? vote: BSmith
battle: TheLastDays if that makes you happy visor... If not maybe you could start some meaningful discussion...

However, both team's battle votes are tied. Hence, I will start
Day 4 Phase 2: Where each team votes on which of the enemy team would it like to battle.
Cirith Ungol must chose between BSmith and TheLastDays as thier adversary, Minas Morgul must choose to fight either Secret Scribe or robbiecon. This was... unexpected.
Day 4.2 will end on around 4 AM on the 1st of September Pacific Time (because I am now in Siberia). Vote!
OOC: You're new to this, so I assume you don't know that we find it very annoying when people edit posts to change their votes, and usually have a rule against it.

This is because those were the players that were nominated by each team, but neither team could decide on who to nominate. Hence, you now choose between the enemy's "nominated" combatents.
Minas Morgul chose to fight Secret Scribe. Cirith Ungol cannot decide between BSmith and TLD, however, since Secret Scribe was chosen to fight for them, per the above rule he chooses his opponent from the two enemy candidates. Since he already voted to battle BSmith, there is no need for a third part of the day, for him to additionally choose.
Thus, the battles and lynches:
Shelob had nearly recourporated from her injury. The chaos in the tower had been an excellent opportunity for her to get the meat needed to heal her wounds. Or so she thought, until she saw several orcs marching on her with torches. TheLastDays turned to face these new adversaries, when suddenly she felt more torches being thrown from behind. Shelob's massive bulk caught fire, as she spun, disoriented by the smoke and glare which filled her unlight lair. Finally, the great spider from Ungoliant's brood collapsed, hissing with the flames that consumed her. The Last Days was lynched. S/He was Shelob:
Spoiler:
Shelob:
You are Shelob, a creature older than these mountains, older than this fort and the orcs with their petty squabbles. You are a mighty spider of the ancient brood of Ungoliant, perhaps the last of your kin. For eons you have weaved webs of darkness in this lair, eating all who dare pass, but lately, you have had nothing to feed on but tasteless orcs. That all changed when two Halflings came here. Good food they promised to be, but they carried elvish steel. You are wounded, but not defeated, and you need to eat to regain your strength.
Personal Ability:
You can choose a player per night and kill them.
<Confidential>
Cover Role:
Spoiler:
Minas Morgul Orc:
You are an orc from the city of the Nazgul, Minas Morgul, sent here to supplement the local garrison. It was quickly made obvious to you how incompetent and pathetic they are. They could not even keep two tiny, unarmed prisoners in check! As such it is clear that they do not deserve the prisoner’s valuable armor.
In Shelob's lair, the orcs found the coveted Mithril Shirt:
Spoiler:
Mithril shirt:
Valuable armor of mithril, light yet durable, and the subject of the squabble between the orcs, this shirt has helped get Frodo through this far and will give whoever bears it a better chance in any battle.
Effect: +2 Strength to bearer. Whoever wins the battle on day one will get this item.
Tomorrow, Minas Morgul will vote on its next wearer.
Meanwhile, BSmith and Secret Scribe battled in the tower's bloodstained courtyard, under the two silent watchers. However, after a long and hard struggle, neither of them died, and both returned wounded to their side.

Night 4 Begins. It will end 4 AM September 3rd.
You are an Orc from the garrison of Cirith Ungol and it was clear to you from the start that these Morgul-scum were up to no good, so when their rebellion ruined an easy capture of two little prisoners, with shiny mail coats that the big bosses should have no interest in, it was obvious which side to choose for the glory of My armor, back of Morgul scum! He Knifed Me! Get Him!
Everyone else awoke with a new sense of urgency, realizing that with the dwindling number of orcs, this battle won't go on much longer, and that the winner would be decided in the next few days.

Minas Morgul: Vote on the next shirt wearer. Both factions vote for lynch and battle as normal (from their own ranks). No prize for today's battler.
