Taken aback by the failures and carnage of the last day and night, the orcs spilled much less blood this time around. Both Minas Morgul and Cirith Ungol decided not to lynch anyone of there own in their hunt for the infiltrators. Nonetheless, there was still a tower to divide, and until one side surrendered, the main battle must continue. Minas Morgul banked on their mithril armored champion, SouthernKing, while Cirith Ungol elected Nintz to fight for them. After all, Nintz had been attacked by several of their number yesterday and come out unscathed so surely he could do well today also, or just maybe there was foul elvish trickery involved here?
It turned out that the answer was the latter. After a short struggle, Nintz lay dead. SouthernKing removed his enemy's orcish cloak and all saw the prisoner, whom they had previously imprisoned at the top of the tower. Frodo was dead. Genuinely dead this time... The orcs celebrated, finally one of the intruders had fallen! Halfling flesh was once again on the menu!
Nintz was Frodo:

Frodo:
You are Frodo, the ringbearer. You have come far on your quest through trial and adversity. Now mount doom looms ahead. If the ring is destroyed, it would be a great victory for the forces of good, but if you fail, Sauron’s evil will darken the lands eternally. The journey through Cirith Ungol has been difficult. Gollum betrayed you, by leading you into the spider’s cave. The orcs have taken you prisoner, but their squabble has given some hope, to complete the quest you were entrusted with and save the free people of middle earth.

Cirith Ungol Orc:
You are an Orc from the garrison of Cirith Ungol and it was clear to you from the start that these Morgul-scum were up to no good, so when their rebellion ruined an easy capture of two little prisoners, with shiny mail coats that the big bosses should have no interest in, it was obvious which side to choose for the glory of… My armor, back of Morgul scum! He Knifed Me! Get Him!
You didn't put up a lot of fight though ^^ - but as I said it would even have made sense to lynch you just to see what happens, after that failed lynch on D1... Even if you were townie there's barely a better case to follow on a second day.
Well, let's find Sam! If I am right with my feelings he should be on the Morgul faction... Anything else would be unbalanced I guess...
Gorbag could not sleep. Maybe the Halfling flesh was infected, maybe it was the wound that the little albaisnaga (OOC: elf-slave) had given him yesterday. Maybe it was a sense of foreboding for what was to come.
Something has slipped. There are intruders past the stairway, past the tower perhaps? On their way to Lugburz maybe?
He repeated under his breath as he wandered the halls of the tower. It wasn't really night here in the Land of Shadow, or day. The red fires of Mount Dûmp (OOC: doom) gave a consistent, steady and dim illumination. That was good. The sun burned your eyes, and the darkness hid your enemies. The Mountain was best for a good battle.
Suddenly, he heard a scream far away in the tower, where the orcs from Cirith Ungol were quartered. He didn't know yet, but topsecret had died. He was a

Sighing, he wandered towards that sector of the tower. He had little sympathy for the remnants of the local garrison, but if there were intruders there, he would do well to pick them off before they got him. Suddenly he heard a sound from a dark corner.
Tomorrow, the Minas Morgul orcs found SouthernKing dead.

Gorbag: Faction: Minas Morgul
You are the leader of the orcs from Minas Morgul. The bungling soldiers who garrison this fort have captured two tiny prisoners, but in a display of utter incompetence, have been unable to hold them. Moreover, these fools have claimed the mithril armor of the prisoners, even though it is obvious that they will be unable to do anything with it. It is clear that this tower needs a leadership change (and you need a pay raise). Besides, putting the mithril armor to good use cannot hurt the cause of Mordor!
Personal Ability:
You break ties in Minas Morgul voting.
Very good question indeed. Jarrema, you voted Choxorn on Day 1 and got him into a tie that could have gotten him lynched then on Day 2 you voted him again, all the while not giving any reasons.
Now you're voting him again and it makes me think: What do you know that we don't?
Esp. since choxorn did win this battle on Day 1 that came out of the tie in lynch votes. Choxorn, same question I asked SK before someone killed him: Why did you win this battle? I figure that the Mafia will have higher battle stats. It doesn't make so much sense storywise but from a gameplay point of view it does... They would simply die too easily otherwise.
In yesterday's case Nintz was up against SK who, as we now know, had a base strength of 3 and also held the Mithril shirt, so he was sporting a nice strength of 5 which was probably even higher than what Frodo had...
It's true that a lack of discussion is good for scum but your votes aren't really encouraging discussion or contributing to it much. They simply stuck out a bit. Fair enough, I guess, I'd like to hear from Choxorn now.
As to winning the battle, I'm not really sure why. I'm just a vanilla townie, my role is exactly the same as classical's. I must have gotten good RNG luck.
