Civ 5 Design Challenge IV - History/Eras

Hmm... it's a very tough one, but I think I'll go with Keniisu's Husatecs.

@senshidenshi, I agree, there're so many unique mechanics and designs! I had a hard time making up my mind too!

Here's how the votes are looking right now to my knowledge:

Would like to point out 12 people entered but only nine have voted :p

Since the votes are fairly evenly split as well, I don't think it's fair to limit it to just the Mississippians and Husatecs quite yet.

Had some problems with every other design

Could I have some info on your problems with the Timucua? They're a civ I might be interested in doing, so I'd like that feedback.

That ones a bit more of a subjective qualm; I personally am not a fan of added resources. However it was not as problematic for me as some of the others, and I'm quite a fan of the blowgun design.

Voting for einayim's design. Quite liked it, especially the concept of the UA.

quite a few nice designs but think I'll go for the the Mississippians

Votes atm:

Mississippians - 3
Toltecs - 3
Husatecs - 2
Timucua - 2
Chumash - 1
Diquis - 1
Oniishin - 1
Taino - 1

So, how do we want to do this? Limit voting to just the Toltecs and Mississippians? Maybe everyone with more than one vote and see if there's still a tie? I don't know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

inthesomeday's Toltecs.

Also I fear I was off by around 50 years in my desin of the Avate Kueri (or as they're commonly known, the Guarany) - it is inspired by early colonial conflicts between Avate Kueri karai and Jesuit priests.

That said no one voted for it anyway. ;_;

Does that make me the winner?

I'll go with the Warring States Period, 475 BCE-221 BCE. As I typically say with these somewhat region or theme specific ones, though not mandatory, designs either in Warring States China or that were heavily affected by the Warring States Period's political fallout are encouraged.

This was a little tough, but I made it through. :)
Chu (Dao)
UA: The State of Power -
Each annexed :c5occupied: city provides +5% Production :c5production: bonus to all of your Civilization's cities. (Max: 40%) When you are deemed a Warmonger :c5unhappy: by another civilization, units gain experience +25% faster than normal.

UU: Zhànzhēng Fànzi -
Replaces the Swordsman. Has +2 more Strength :c5strength: than the Swordsman it replaces. When garrisoned in an Annexed :c5occupied: city grant the city with a +10% Production :c5production: bonus and +3 City Defense :c5strength:.

UB: State Treasury -
Replaces the Market. Provides +3 Gold :c5gold: on outgoing Trade Routes :trade: heading to capitals :c5capital:. Upon the completion of a Caravan's Trade Route :trade: gain a Gold :c5gold: boost.

I've got one.

Qin under Ying Zheng
UA: Tiānmìng: When you gain territory previously owned by another Civilisation or City State you get +2 faith and one resource that the tile produces.
UU: Bīngmǎyǒng: Unlike the spearman it replaces, the Bīngmǎyǒng gain a +40% defence bonus against melee units and is unlocked at pottery.
UI: Chángchéng: Unlocked at Construction, the Chángchéng acts as a mountain to all enemy units, but can't be built next to another Chángchéng.

I know that the last two uniques are technically already a thing, but they would be fun to see in game at the least.
