I hope I don't wake up at 3 am, like I did last week, because I won't be able to resist checking my phone!
I am already in sleep dev, thanks to my 25 y o, returning home with no notice this week, and I want to catch up my zeads before I attend Homegrown this Saturday in Welly.

Whats my chances......

Meanwhile, here in the states, it's almost 2am Thursday morning. Much of the day still to go for us!

Is it at all possible that they entered this information in error? Or that the content was planned, trademarked, communicated to Steam, but then cancelled without any public explanation since it was never intended for public consumption due to its not yet being final?

Yes.

But that won't stop these guys

Didn't you say 2 PM GMT last week?
EDIT: my bad, you corrected it to 1PM later

I made a daylight saving error. Simple, but very annoying.

Menzies, pleeeeease don't be wrong, for the sake of everyone.

4 hours, 28 minutes...

I'm pretty sure I will be sadly, but we can hope. It's the most likely time until mid next week based on past actions and the announcement of Gods & Kings... Not really a case of saying it's certain, unlike last week this is just me being hopeful...

Why on Earth would they cancel an expansion pack once it's at the point on naming? By the time you enter such information you almost certainly have the official name, something that doesn't come until the project is nearing functional completion from what I know. Also, why cancel an expansion from what seems from everything I've seen to be their most successful game in this series?

I'm not sure what does it mean exactly, but they changed the extra info section of One World to "Not Used" (where it says "Optional" to all the DLCs)
http://steamdb.info/app/8930/#section_depots

Might be some pretty bad news
(I still don't doubt that there will be a second expansion, but maybe it won't come as early as we expected)

There will almost certainly be one announced by the end of march, the only question is when at this point.

I wouldn't be bothered by that at this point. Maybe someone noticed that we spotted it and they are doing this as a subtle "removal". Who knows... Maybe they don't like the name 'One World', maybe the Chicken crossed the road as the grass was greener, we won't know until there's an announcement.

I think this might be good news. Something is happening. :)

I believe "not used" might mean they have completed some kind of "Alpha phase" and expansion is ready to be announced...

Hopefully it just means that from a steam perspective, those file placeholders are not being used...yet...because they are still building the expansion ;)

A few words strung together in a vague sentence about something to do with a potential expansion.

That still doesn't preclude the possibility of an error on Steam's part.

Don't mind me. I've become very pessimistic and jaded over the course of the last year or so. My fingers are crossed along with you.
