I have just realized that, since we're likely getting an Exploration associated leader this Thursday, there's a possibility that we're going to see a Genghis Khan First Look
The teaser trailer that used Hatshepsut's in-game design also featured a closeup of some Mongolian character in full armor (no Kublai repeat). Chances are it could be him.
The previous ones were 12th September and 8th October, and both were announced 6 days in advance here. So... probably the first week of November, and the announcement could be anytime the 7 next days?
I have just realized that, since we're likely getting an Exploration associated leader this Thursday, there's a possibility that we're going to see a Genghis Khan First Look (no evidence of him yet, but we did recently learn from that interview that Sid Meier likes to have him included.) I don't think we'll be seeing him so soon, but if we are, I want to put forth the prediction that he will be one of the leaders with a persona from one of the deluxe editions, with a title of "destroyer" or something similar in the base game and "reformer" or "unifier" or something similar as the bonus persona. I believe this because mapping out the bare minimum of leaders required to meet the condition of "more than previous games including personas" (20) while considering the amount of personas guaranteed so far leaves few potential takers, with all of our fully revealed leaders so far notably missing the same sort of title that Ashoka had from the start. Genghis Khan has always been the world conquering war guy in civ, for good reason, but his reforms and image within the Mongol empire are interesting enough to make a unique persona to give to more dedicated fans of the series who are purchasing a more expensive version of the game, and I think the devs'll go for it. My current model somewhat depends on my belief that Germany/Prussia and Russia are out for the base game, because they'd probably want their own leaders, but... come on, he's Genghis Khan!
I will make a change for the leader, for an un-teased yet middle-east antiquity or exploration age one. I'm not well versed in historical personalities, so let's take one from Civ 6, Cyrus or Saladin.
To sum up: Persia
Middle-east leader (Cyrus or Saladin) Songhai (failed)
Don't worry, in that case Sid will animate and program a Genghis Khan himself and add in the game for free so no one can say he was wrong when he said that!!!

Which is funny considering Kublai fits the idea of leaders not associated with a singular civ better in this game, even though he already did that last game.

I mean yeah, it would, wouldn't it? Might make the fans who take it as gospel look a bit dumb too, though. I certainly think prior Civ games were "wrong" to exclude Mongolia/Genghis from base game; I think it is totally possible Civ VII's model would prefer to wait on Genghis until they can get some proper Turco-Mongolic civs on the map. It really remains to be seen how much historical leader paths will matter to the overall design at launch.
Possibly. If things remain the way they are and we don't see Vietnamese, Japanese, and Ghana->Hausa pathways at launch, then yeah I will end up agreeing with you. People were so sure that Rome -> Normans and Egypt -> Songhai before Spain and the Abbasids were revealed.
15 weeks till release, 19 more civs left to officially reveal game guides for. Looks like we've got at least one big week ahead of us.
Additionally, there are 6 leaders revealed so far. Seems like they're grouping up Leaders/Personas in the same video too, so if they do one leader a week, that could potentially be up to 21 unique leaders in base game. I expect there'll be some weeks where we don't get a leader vid though, but it's a fun number to think about.

Rome > Normans and Egypt > Songhai are still pathways, though, and I can't imagine the people who object to Rome > Normans feel any better about Rome > Spain.

But Rome -> Spain does make more sense for Augustus as a leader, and even players concerns about that could easily be alleviated by the reveal of an exploration Italic civ. All I'm saying is, people have already jumped to incorrect conclusions by presuming what limited information we have is all there will ever be. Two "illogical" paths have been improved with the reveal of more information; I'm not presuming things like Vietnam, Japan, and Hausa will remain illogical while we still have so much of the full picture obscured. A single civ reveal could change much of that perspective overnight.
Or we could get massive dumps to encourage pre-ordering as a last-minute Christmas gift. Posts can be pre-scheduled. It could easily go one way or another, I'm not their marketing manager lol.

True. And if I were to counterbalance my previous post, I would imagine we might see a little push just before Christmas vacation and immediately after New Years' to bridge the gap.
We have no evidence for any version of Vietnam or Exploration (much less Antiquity) Japan in the base game--and while they'll probably come, I doubt we'll ever get Hausa (which is too bad). We have all but a handful of the civs pretty well nailed down; I don't think we're going to see anymore Buganda-tier surprises.
