I’m guessing today we’ll get a civ reveal that can vaguely be described as ‘Christmasy’.
England - the setting of A Christmas Carol
Germany - the origin of Christmas trees
Russia - snowy and wintery
Japan - It’s Christmas! Bust out the cake and KFC!
Looking at the currently revealed leaders, they seem like they might be divided evenly by era the same way that civs are:
Antiquity
Exploration
Modern
Hatshepsut
Amina
Ben Franklin
Augustus
Charlemagne
Harriet Tubman
Xerxes
Isabella
Catherine (leak)
Ashoka
Machiavelli
Frederick (leak)
Confucius
Ibn Battuta
Trung Trac
Pachacuti
Himiko
Tecumseh (DLC)
Napoleon (DLC)
Not surprising, given that 21 leaders is perfectly divisible by 3 eras, for 7 leaders per era. The question is, though, are we supposed to count Tecumseh and Napoleon as part of that 21?
I hope not--they're both technically DLC even if nearly everyone will get them...
Which would leave likely one more leader from the exploration era and then three from the modern era.
My guess is Genghis Khan as the potential last exploration leader. We saw a khan in the teaser trailer alongside the Egyptian female pharaoh that ended up being Hatshepsut, after all. And, it's been too long since Genghis was in a base game. But I also like the idea of Timur, as others have suggested. Either of them could be our Militaristic/Expansion combo that we don't have yet.
As for the unrevealed modern leaders, I'm definitely betting on an additional African leader. There's been rumors of Shaka, so he's my guess.
There's no indication of an additional East Asian leader beyond Confucius and Himiko, but I think we might end up getting an additional Indian leader--and Gandhi is after all a series mainstay... so I'm guessing Gandhi is likely to return.
As for the last leader? I would personally love to see somebody to represent the Pacific, modern Latin America, or an additional Southeast Asian leader.
Just because Hawaii is an exploration-era civ doesn't mean it can't have an associated leader from later in history, like Kamehameha or Liliuokalani... but then there's Siam, which could see a new leader like Rama V introduced to the series... and as for Latin America, I would love to see Mexico get a real associated leader. It would feel disappointing having to play Mexico as Isabella or Pachacuti. My guess would be Sor Juana, since many of the other potential leaders are already Revolucionarios.
The leader attribute pairings we do not yet have, to my knowledge, are:
Economic / Scientific
Militaristic / Expansionist
Cultural / Diplomatic
Cultural / Scientific
Of the two leaked leaders, I'm not sure I necessarily see Catherine or Frederick as any of these options. Catherine feels expansionist and cultural/scientific, while Frederick feels militaristic and cultural. But Genghis or Timur or Shaka could easily be militaristic/expansionist leaders.... Liliuokalani and Gandhi make total sense as Cultural/Diplomatic... Sor Juana as cultural/scientific, Rama V as economic/scientific, etc.... just throwing ideas out there.

I could see Catherine being both Cultural and Scientific. Expansionist I could see being a Russian trait, instead. As for Frederick I think he might be one of the leaders who could have two personas and have any of the traits listed.
Normally, I wouldn't expect anything next week either, but they did manage to fit in a guide and FL before Thanksgiving, so it's possible they could have something for us. I consider that chance pretty small though.
I don't think we should expect anything before the second of January/Thursday, and even then that'd be quite quick. Firaxis have the time for reveals, enjoy your own breaks!
We have 4 leaders unspoken of in official materials and 5 without a First Look, right? If next week is also off, that’s about 4 weeks til February 6th, meaning we’d probably get a double First Look week, which would be fun.

Considering there wasn't any post Friday telling us what to expect for next week, likely next is also a break as many suggested.
Albeit those posts were reviews of last week and then what to expect next, and so while we are on a break, we may not get one of those until the next week after we get new content revealed.

Listening to the Empire podcast’s recent series on the Mughals has been really hoping to see a Babur, Humayun, Akbar, or Shah Jahan as one of the remaining leaders to give us another way to play the Maurya-Chola-Mughal trio. Another Chinese leader (Qianlong?) would be nice too for the same reason.
1) Yes, almost certainly. Every leader we saw at the beginning received an art pass that improved their appearance. Beyond that, Himiko was shown on the Switch, so her PC model should be even better.
2) I expect that we will see the Meiji Japanese when we see Himiko, but I don't know if they will be next or not. All the leaders are getting revealed in the next month, so they are all Coming Soon.
Himiko is poorly attested in historical records but fairly popular in Japanese pop culture. I'm afraid that there might not be enough historical references for two personae and the second would end up being something very pop culture.
