A video from a civ already revealed that just wasn't added to the playlist yet? Or you mean the playlist count increased but with no video visible that would imply a currently private video yet to be show to us was added?

Looks to be new; all revealed civs are accounted for I believe and there is "1 unavailable video" that is hidden; the playlist page says it was updated today.

I mean, to be fair it is a massive achievement in science and tech, to be able to modernize them at the pace Japan did in those few decades since 1870

But even besides that, they quickly got into their own innovative inventions and solutions (which is less surprising once one realises Japanese were tinkering with Western science since 17yh century via so-called Rangaku studies)
 
Part of me feels rather impolite and demanding, but my brain is just begging for more info to overanalyze! I'll make a prediction, see if that helps... Himiko along with a "coming soon" seems like rather valuable evidence, and the change in schedule means that we are outside of typical precedent for leader reveals. Whenever we get news, I'll say it's her and Meiji.
 
I certainly agree that that Himiko/Meiji are up next for game guides. Since Tuesdays and Thursdays have been their scheduled days for game guides and there are 8 combined Tuesdays/Thursdays between today and the Feb 6 early access, we can still see a consistent release schedule of civ reveals complete before release.

As far as the other missing half: leaders, I think we'll only get 6 reveals. We need 9 more leaders to bring us up to 26, but 3 of those are personas, so I think they'll do what they did with Xerxes/Ashoka and double up.

That is assuming they would get all of those reveals out before early access, which I think makes the most sense.

Also I think they'll save Russia as the penultimate reveal and Britain/Germany as the final one, just to keep us guessing.
