CIVILIZATION IV:iNoc

Philosophical and Spiritual seems OP to me though.
1 free spec per city will chunk out GP very early, leading to free wonders, free techs etc
1 free GP with first city. If it is a GE, it means free wonder of choice on turn 0 the moment the city is built

Philosophical gives a free Great Specialist, not a Great person unit. But you're right about the free specialist, it's too powerful. Do you have a better idea?

How about that specialists that produce gold and espienoge produce +1 gold and +1 espienoge.

Ah it was organized not spiritual that gives the free spec :D
What I did for my own traits was keep the civics upkeep and gave it no anarchy during civics change.

But since you are using SDK, I think you may consider reduce maintainence or less chance for city disorder, since being organized means more efficient, less chaotic :D

Big accomplishment! Big problem that was holding me up for months is FINALLY GONE!!! It was a REALLY HARD FEATURE, and I will post the screenshot soon.

 I love a lot of these ideas, and even though I did not post it, I had the idea for a CIvilization trait somewhere in my mind a couple month ago. I can't wait to see how this turns out so I can steal your ideas enjoy your ideas! :p

:)

I'm glad you like it. Civilization traits are going to be one of the toughest aspects of iNoc. Unlike the normal leader traits, or even the UUs and UBs, they are designed to make the strategy for each civ different, sorta like in FFH. Some of my favorites are Nabataea (Stonemasons) and Lakota (People of the Plains).

If I introduce supply (:wow: :scared: :faint: :nono: :aargh: :run:), Organized will effect that.

I just uploaded a lot of new screenshots. Some of them show the new Advanced Resources features.

I like the idea of that feature! It will add a whole new strategy to this game, instead of the usual Stack of Doom conquering method. Maybe also require supply lines and food from cities/invaded land to support the war effort?

I like it too, but I'm not exactly sure how to make it work. It would also be hard to teach the AI. Any suggestions on how it would work?

I meant supply, as a game mechanic.

Oh. derp :p
Maybe have a unit that can store and transport food with the units, and have the units consume x food per turn, and if they dong get x food per turn they lose health?

Hmmm... Clever. iNoc already is going to have increased food production, so maybe there should be a 'Supply Train' unit that can store food. Also, it could carry food resources (Bread, Corn, Rice, Cow). And maybe it could also carry Ale to boost morale! It all fits together so well. Thanks! How do you like it?

I currently have nine screenshots up. Why has no-one said anything about them?

First ingame screenshots!

I like the natural wonders idea. AFAIK they introduced them to ciV and are originally from FFH... I'd like to implement them, too.
Also, your Heroes idea is cool, i.e. that they are era specific.
I'm not sure about the resources stockpiling. Does that mean that you get "resource points" for each turn you have access to a resource and can spend them on units as if they were money?

I know that natural wonders are in CiV and FFH. And as for resource stockpiling, that is the idea. It was originally thought up by The_Lopez, but he is gone from modding with no word on when he'll return. There is going to be some automation with the resources so you don't end up having to micro everything.
