wait, if Aksum is one of the "neighbors", does that mean you can start playing as one of your opponents when switching your civ?

also, I dont like the rhetoric/underlying logic in the ages system when they say "civilizations must adapt to new times"--they're implying that the civilizations that failed "failed" because they couldn't adapt and not because they were genocided/invaded/dealed with natural disaster or famine
