Eight people saying yes carries the motion.

Queen Lizzy abhors democratic institutions as they undermine the Divine Right of her Royal Majesty, but votes yes anyway.

Yes, please.

yes to whatever was the initial question

I agree only with the BCLG amendment: unless both parties agree otherwise

Actually it's a pain in the ass for me to access the pitboss server from home (which is where my Civ4 game PC is), and crazy days at work the last couple days is why I don't have a more recent save, but at least for the next couple weeks I'll get every-12hr saves. After that, I'll assume the crash last night is a fluke and revert to 24hr saves. I wish there was a way of automating the saves...

Lurker alert!

Version 2 of the CivStats uploader will have an auto-save feature in it - it will save every time the last player logs out from the server (which will usually mean after every player logs out) - it will also have the ability to detect when the game has crashed, and automatically re-launch the server from the last save. And then the website would be updated saying what happened, of course.

In my game, we have discovered that sending diplomacy messages that are too long crash the server. You can type all you want and send a bunch of messages, but as soon as you hit "Offer Trade" the server crashes. Not sure if you guys know about that one or not...

I am going to assume that the attack upon my retreating axemen was a result of you playing before me this time (as opposed to pre-save when I think I moved first), and it was just a queued move, rather than a breech of our agreement...

Your assumption is correct.

When you get version 2.0 going, you might want to start a paypal account for contributions, because I for one will be willing to donate to it. Not that v1.0 is anything to sneeze at, either...

And thanks for the heads-up regarding diplo buffer overflow. :)

Queen Lizzy, being the magnanimous and great Queen that she is, forgives you.

You may now kiss her pinky ring. :)
