Colored or White Lights?

I've yet to see tasteful coloured one's.
Tiny white ones in trees are pretty though.
Them candle in a paperbag thingys, aren't they a bit too flammable?
Especially on roofs or porches.

Multicoloured lights remind me of fruity salad vomit. White lights remind me of twinkly stars. I like stars.

I will have white lights on a Nordische Blaufichte. Basically a blue norway fir or spruce... (strange name for Fichte, that "spruce").

The pure white light also has a connotation to certain christian values, even if most people do not think about it, this is probably why white lights are the standard. In former times maybe they also did not bother to color the glass or make colorful leds, whatever.

I like single-colored lights best. White just seems boring, but too many colors doesn't look good.
