Update I, 269 B.C
The Storm Gathers
The Lion has left, evidently war has not followed him, for it is apparent all over.
Rome has extended it's reach throughout southern Europe. The Legions of the Eturnal City marched rythmecally against the Gauls of Southern France. The Gauls offered less resistance than the generals of Rome had anticipated, thus the Romans were able to thrust a good ways. The Romans also burst on Missilia. Under the command of Consul Appius Claudius the Legion utterly crushed the Massilians around the capital. Thousands of the population defected to the Rome as a way out of poverty. The Massilians hurried across their lands and in the process solidified the nation. Victory for Rome is inevetable.
Armenia has begun its Golden Rennaissance. They have also begun their grand conquest. The Imperial Armies have expanded throughout the Caucas region with minimal resistance in the south and north. The growing Empire also crossed into Galatia, hoping to envelop it in it's sudden pursute for glory. The poor Galatians put up a stiff resistance but in the end were swept away by the tide of would-be Legionaires. The Armenians did succeed to capture the Capital
To the east now. the Mauryans have taken up the spear and begun their conquest of Bangledesh and southern and northern India. Upon reaching Sri Lanka though, the they met heavier resistance and were only able to secure half the island. The Empire has also increased it's infastructure by deviding it's empire into ten provinces, each with it's own capital. Cities have also been croping up thorughout the newly conquered territory.
Maurya also took a political gamble. More freedoms were granted to common people, this has put the nobles of the empire on edge, feeling that the commoner has no right to any freedoms than pre-ordained.

Back to the Mediteranean we go. Macedon is back in black as the tiny kingdom of Epirus loses half it's territory. Talk of a Macedonian led united Hellenistic Empire a fluttered around Greece. The Macedonian military swiflty punched a huge hole in the Epirian line. Unfortunately the Ptolmaic Empire would not grant the Macedonians free water ways into Epirus and thus didn't make the gains they had hoped.
Carthage also has moved throughout Iberia and North Africa with great success.
Saba and Maan have spread their influence through out the Arabian Peninsula. The Sabanese (with the help of their new Saphinots) have created colonies in Eritrea as well as opening a new age of Trade in Selucia.
Ptolmaics have breached into the Middle-East.
