The Covenant's galaxy collides with the Galactic Empire's galaxy. The Flood is dispersed across the new larger galaxy and a portal storm erupts allowing the Combine to enter.

Who comes out on top?

IMO: The flood will devour both the Covenant and the Empire. The Combine will sweep up the mess.

Combine wins.

The clashing laws of physics from opposing works of fiction cause the universe to implode; everything is destroyed.

Either Noah or Jesus. If it reaches that point, then it could go either way.

psh, the rebels. no one defeats guerrilla warfare.

Gordon Freeman follows the Combine, beating them all into a pulp with his trusty crowbar. He will then proceed to gently caress Alyx and be completely awesome.

how exactly is noah supposed to beat an avatar of god?
You're forgeting Noah has the Old Testament god on his side - which is the most cruel psychotic sadist genocidal murderer we've ever seen. Noah may not have superpowers like Jesus but the jewish god will come to his side. As for Jesus, he may be immortal and can cast earthquake and stuff but his god is not as warmongering as the jewish nazi rapist one.

the god who is supposed to be on noah's side is the very same character that is jesus.
he may be a bit different after the new testament relaunch, but according to canon, it's still the same person.

Yes but this is a hypothetical situation where the 2 universes exist at the same time !
God during the old testament was emo and stuff, so he let out all his frustration on humanity, but that was PMS. The new testament god is a more mature and wiser bloke who can control his bursts of rage better, like punishing the Philipines for being catholic, or punishing Haiti for being poor.
Anyway, the 2 gods showdown is, simply put, like your 15 y old self vs your 30 y old self.

almighty beings dont lose power with age, it just dont work this way.
also, the jesus god may be less emo and aggressive, but in this hypothetical he would be at war with the noah god, so those character traits wouldnt even be relevant to the euqation.

now, two almighty gods who basically have the same powers figthing each other may result in a draw, but in this case, it's one almighty god fighting a human with the backing of an almighty god, which is something entirely different.
noah would be toast. end of.

Power is nothing if you dont know how to use it - hence the wisdom that the second god has. Noah's god will be impulsive and will be vulnerable to counteratacks, but only if the Jesus god can withstand the old god's initial assault.

It might seem so, but remember the story of Noah. He was getting raped in Sodom daily and he was not greek, so he didn't like it and had to do something about this. So he whined to god and god saw how sad it was so he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah too, just for good measure, then wrote a poem about how sad he was while doing so. Let's not forget how god gave into Noah's demands for that bestiality orgy on the boat - the plan was for the boat to be like a palace for noah and his kin; but Noah had a very disturbing fetish. God had to bring 2 of each species of EVERY animal.

Now let's take a look at Jesus. He is just an avatar of God and not god himself. He has limitations - which are proven when he lost faith in the garden of Ghetsemane - his human side got the best of his divine side. And when he called for help from his God while on the cross his god barely did an earthquake to split the jewz temple and other boring stuff. Compare this to Noah's demand to purge the entire planet with water just because he was raped. Also a flaw of this god's character is the fact that he is a masochist, he loves torture and in no way tries to avoid it even tho he knows Judas will betray him and knows what will come after the betrayal. The old god OTOH is a sadist which is useful in combat.

Plotinus would be of great help here to clear things up. He is much more knowledgeable on the subject than me !

The Flood are very adept at assimilating technological knowledge and overwhelming enemies by sheer mass. They assimilate one Combine Overlord, it's game over for the Combine.

I don't think we know much about the Combine, but the Empire is orders of magnitude more powerful than the other three.

But their foot soldiers can't hit the broad side of a barn, how are they supposed to stop headcrabs and whatever the flood use to infect people? Then these two sides have a giant army and fleet at their disposal.

galactic empire have possibly the most advanced tech, but they suck. two jedis have been known to dismantle whole armies of galactic soldiers.

the combine are quite unable to kill one badly armed scientist, so what chance would they have?

the flood and the convenant are from halo and hence fail.

looks like a draw to me.

The former span multiple dimensions. How can the latter be more powerful?

Also, everyone knows the protagonists win because they have Plot Armor.

Star Wars Empire is utterly annihilated. The "official" numbers aren't even close - the Halo universe is way more powerful.

Edit: Don't know much about the Combine either...especially since they're supposed to be kinda mysterious. At first didn't realize they were separate since Covenant/Flood are the same verse.

What? An archaic tech human empire of a few dozen small colonies sucessfully resisted them for years, the Empire has billions of inhabited systems.
