Have one night stands with the people there.

This video was put out by a Danish travel agency to attract tourist. Its a viral stunt. Thoughts on this?

My thoughts...I guess the way to attract tourist to Denmark, according to this travel agency, is to promote traveling there by promoting having a one night stand there and leaving.

When I herd the part in the video where she is like...and ya, we went back to my house and ended up having sex...And when I woke up you where gone. Then I look at the baby she is holding and talking about...then I think in my head lol this was put out by a travel agency.

Brooklyn Father Seeking (parody of Danish Mother Seeking) I think its kinda funny:) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXdbNWJaif4&feature=related

Crap, she found me.

Crap, she found me.

At the end she said she will link her email, I wonder if the original video really had an email she linked or if it just linked to the travel agency or something.

You are of course welcome to go ahead and waste your money here. If you're not white you should love the attitude you get at the immigration control at the border.

This comment on the youtube page interests me. Is this generally true?

I've had a run in with an immigration officer in a Scandinavian country who, despite speaking perfect English, could not seem to read the nationality stated on my passport nor my UK visa. And she was immediately suspicious of me despite my clarifying where I'm from and why exactly I was there. She then referred me to a security officer who also treated me like I was trying to break their laws. 'Innocent until proven guilty' and not having undue suspicions towards someone doesn't apply to non-whites or what?

I remember that when Austria was condemned when Jörg Haider (a xenophobe) was in the government there was a report on TV that reported that in Denmark similar politicians where popular. It was a long time ago but I wouldn't be surprised if that youtube comment was true.

Which Scandinavian country was it? Do you think that they where suspicious because of your skin color? (I don't know your skin color)

Ofcause it's not true.

Denmark does have a very strict immigration policy, but as long you're an EU citizen you are free to travel into Denmark all you want.

Doesn't that work out to Denmark having the immigration policy of the least strict EU member?

To be fair, it was Sweden. But Sweden and Denmark seem to have super lax border control between them (I simply took a train from Lund to Copenhagen later, and it was just like taking a train from city to city within one country), so I'd presume they have similar attitudes towards immigration, as my experience and that comment seem to suggest.

I don't know if it's a skin colour thing or what. I'm not an EU national. In any case, I was really annoyed that the woman didn't care to look at my passport properly and repeatedly asked in a hostile manner whether I was from a country that is not mine. And she seemed unable to comprehend that I'm living in the UK despite not being British since I have a student visa. The security guy was hostile much in the same way. At the very least they were terribly unprofessional.

Within the Schengen Area there is practically no border control. Denmark and Sweden are both part of it. Moving from an EU country to another is really easy (at least when you're an EU national), but if you're coming from outside the EU, it's probably gonna be like anywhere else.

Our social safety net is SO GOOD, that you father all the illegitimate children you want, and we will still take care of them!

I dunno, Sweden promises a horde of little Yossarians ;)
