Starting tomorrow I will be hanging out in Hawaii until the end of the month. I'll be on the Big Island hoping for Kilauea to go on display with fountains of lava like it has been for the past few weeks.

Somehow I drifted away from this site c. 2020. I don't know exactly why - maybe a weariness with American politics, maybe that my life actually improved markedly and I didn't feel the need for the virtual community I had been deeply involved in over the years 2013-2020 or so? Anyway, I just wanted to say that I still exist and that I want to participate again, occasionally at least. I'm sorry that I just kind of disappeared without explanation.
