well, i actually learned quite a lot more about Byzantium since then. the first point you made about Roman monarchy was quite sound, for example. i also appeared to be on something. steel walls?

Just to reiterate what I said before:
I have been extremely busy with school, work and homework and I am not able to stay up to date on threads, PM's and VM's. So no one freak out if I don't get back to someone or walk away from a thread in the middle of debate. I know it's not like me to do that but I'm unable to give CFC as much time as I'd like right now and for the immediate future.

I'd say that's a good thing. Priority is everything (well, almost). And CFC should be well down near the bottom of the list, by any sane order of things, imo.

Yeah, I made the big mistake last semester of using CFC as a place to hide from my responsibilities. I felt bad I wasn't doing so great in school, so I came here to play, then I played too much and did bad in school. It wasn't a very good cycle, but I've put a stop to it this semester. I still miss having fun conversations though and when I get a break I'll be more active.
