More than likely it is a screwup on my part in the saving/loading of the new property values.
I'll check on that once I am back home in the evening. In the meantime best stay with the dll from revision 954.

EDIT: Found at least one mistake there already from the webview of the SVN (Note to self: Test more before committing). Unfortunately I can't compile the DLL from here so the fix will definitely have to wait until the evening.
Do not use the revision 955 DLL. Any savegames with that version of the DLL might be screwed. Sorry again.

I just pushed a fix for the save/load bug to the SVN.
Saving/loading your old games should work again.
Games that were saved with the broken DLL will likely not work though. Sorry.

Btw, is there anyone else for whom Ctrl-Shift-R does not trigger the recalculation but instead causes some kind of graphics restart in Civ4?

Revision 963 runs fine now  !

When I press ctrl-shift-r then for a second all animations stop but nothing else seems to happen. Not sure what I should see...

Just that really. It just does a rebuild on all the accumulated modifiers on all cities and players and trade regions from first principals. Takes a few seconds up to a minute or two depending on your game state and machine. I guess I should add a confirmation message at the end really or something ;)

Indeed, what I see in comparison is that the entire screen turns black and is back to normal after a short time, a kind of graphics restart of the Civ4 window.

Two Things that I have missed if someone else has mentioned them:

Once you build workers, there seems to be no more option to burn.

Also, I don't think that forests should grow on improved tiles. Seems kind of odd that the workers clear the land to build cottages, but then a forest grows there (which, by the way, you can't get rid of because of the above point).

I get to go back to desktop for a split second and then back to the game...

That is another description of the same effect I get and I assume it does not trigger the value recalculation either for you?

frankly I don't rightly know since I only noticed it when testing some events (ctrl-shift-e allows to trigger any event you like with chipotle and I just mispressed the r key instead a few times).
Maybe it is chipotle that causes ctrl-shift-r to restart graphics.

Yeah i just found that out also yesterday.:)

I pushed a change to the SVN now that adds Ctrl-Shift-T as an alternative key combination to Ctrl-Shift-R.
In other words, Ctrl-Shift-T will now also trigger the modifier recalculation.

It's not chipotle, as I have always run with that as a modder. Having the two alternate key combos works as a solution though.

I had an error today with rev 953 when the Female Buddhism Priestess (IIRC) essentially laid a layer of red above the map when near the unit. After the unit was gone the graphic error disappeared. See screenshot.

This is starting to happen all over the place. I am seriously wondering if we may have reached out limit on units. Or at least getting close to it. Female missionaries have been working fine since RoM 2.92. So its not like they are a new unit.:sigh:

This was posted in the other thread but I though I would post it here too.

There something screwy is going on. Units are going obsolete before they should. Normally if a unit can upgrade to 2 different paths, then the unit will not disappear as a choice until both choices have replaced it. However now the first unit to replace another unit instantly replaces it, which it should not be doing.

For instance a Stone Spearman can upgrade to a Javelineer or a Spearman. In the old way you had to discover both the Javelineer and the Spearman before the Stoen Spearman got replaced. However now the Javelineer replaces the Stone Spearman long before you can discover the spearman.

What makes this even worse is the Javelineer can upgrade into an Archer or a Spearman. And since Archers come before Spearmen the Javelineer gets replaced by the Archer. This prohibiting you for making any Stone Spearmen or Javelineers anymore.

Please fix this since it totally messes up the unit upgrade paths if the first upgrade replaces the unit.

That'll be my fault. I rewrote a routine in thia area for performance reasons and obviously slightly misunderstood the subtleties of multiple upgrade paths. Will fix ASAP...

Edit - I am VERY short on time today and didn't have a save game with a suitable state to check this handy, so I've pushed what I **believe** to be the fix to SVN (rev 976). Please let me know if this resolves it (and if not please post a save that illustrates it). If you indicate it's ok I'll post it to the patch thread also when I get on tomorrow.
