Revision 963 runs fine now!
When I press ctrl-shift-r then for a second all animations stop but nothing else seems to happen. Not sure what I should see...
Indeed, what I see in comparison is that the entire screen turns black and is back to normal after a short time, a kind of graphics restart of the Civ4 window.Just that really. It just does a rebuild on all the accumulated modifiers on all cities and players and trade regions from first principals. Takes a few seconds up to a minute or two depending on your game state and machine. I guess I should add a confirmation message at the end really or something![]()

That is another description of the same effect I get and I assume it does not trigger the value recalculation either for you?I get to go back to desktop for a split second and then back to the game...
Maybe it is chipotle that causes ctrl-shift-r to restart graphics.frankly I don't rightly know since I only noticed it when testing some events (ctrl-shift-e allows to trigger any event you like with chipotle and I just mispressed the r key instead a few times).

Repeatable error on end turn (r974), something related to revolutions, no crash though.
pRevTeam.signOpenBorders(pPlayer.getTeam())
I had an error today with rev 953 when the Female Buddhism Priestess (IIRC) essentially laid a layer of red above the map when near the unit. After the unit was gone the graphic error disappeared. See screenshot.
This was posted in the other thread but I though I would post it here too.
There something screwy is going on. Units are going obsolete before they should. Normally if a unit can upgrade to 2 different paths, then the unit will not disappear as a choice until both choices have replaced it. However now the first unit to replace another unit instantly replaces it, which it should not be doing.
For instance a Stone Spearman can upgrade to a Javelineer or a Spearman. In the old way you had to discover both the Javelineer and the Spearman before the Stoen Spearman got replaced. However now the Javelineer replaces the Stone Spearman long before you can discover the spearman.
What makes this even worse is the Javelineer can upgrade into an Archer or a Spearman. And since Archers come before Spearmen the Javelineer gets replaced by the Archer. This prohibiting you for making any Stone Spearmen or Javelineers anymore.
Please fix this since it totally messes up the unit upgrade paths if the first upgrade replaces the unit.
