Common Errors and/or Crashes Section

Besides the AI Civs disappearing every game. I seem to have many many reproducible crashes at the end of the turn or infinite "waiting for other civilizations" thing.

Needless to say my game is unplayable, it used to work perfectly with version 17.

Did you try to clear your cache bei holding shift while the game loads ? (The cache may or may not be deleted when deinstalling the game)

Dont know what happened here? All of a sudden i have extra Rogue in the enemy territory, that i never had before, plus in one i have in pic also has more troops i didnt have also? Plus watch out, its one loooong turn time....... Before it just WfoC but this time it at least went though.

Also i have had around 40 straight turns of Rebel Reinforcements coming against me:aargh:

Regardless, I am having a problem playing your mod. I can't even get into the game ( The mod could be loaded however)... After I started a game ( after selecting the size of the map, the country I want to play etc ), I got a Runtime error. The error told me that " the application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way". Could you help me?

I think it is also necessary to tell you that I live in Hong Kong and my windows is a traditional chinese version. And also, I have been suffering from the TXT_KEY problem... are these facts related with the bug? I have the pictures showing the error thingy but I am not sure should I just show it here, So, if you need it please tell me where should I put/ send them. Please Help!

C2C can only be played in English. We have not translated it into Chinese. This will be why you are getting the TXT_KEY problem.

That fixed the AI disbanding itself at the start of the game as long as I do that before starting a new game. I can live with that, but would rather get rid of it. In either case, thank you for that Stormwind.

I started a new game on eternity and up to 4k-5k BC had no problems. I've encountered in two occasions waiting for other civilizations between 4000 and 3000 BC. I hope it was just random and that it doesn't get worse the further I play.

When playing on a extra slooow speed, it all depends on the amount of the civs and the map size you play, that all determines how long the turn times will be later in the game. If on Eternity i would suggest no more than 7 civs on a Large map.
 
I started with 9 on a large map bu the raging barbs took care of 6 despite the emperor dificulty, so there are only 3 left.

I can scroll my camera normally, I can enter the menu, in and out of worldbuilder and do a whole lot of other stuff but I can't get to the next turn. It feels like the game isn't even thinking about the next move.

Edit: I left that alone for 15 minutes BTW.

Nono, I think you misunderstood me. My windows is a Chinese version one. But the game is in English. I play Civ 4 with the English version. And the TXT_KEY problem is also present when I am just playing Civ 4 normally ( Just like a few players out there ), I am just not bother about fixing it and wonder if leaving this problem unchecked will make the Mod unplayable.
 
I also have the "runtime error" issue, I've tried experimenting with different sized maps, different numbers of civs and different game speeds, but can't get a single game to run. It's upsetting, because this looks like a great mod!
 
Modifiers recalculation destroys Rope Weaver's Huts in all cities so they need to be rebuilt.

Not happening for me (my rope weavers all survive the rebuild). It might be an issue with the topology of your trade network since those building have been changed to depend on resources recently. That might explain why a bug would only occur in some games but not others. Save game that reproduces it please...
 
Is anyone getting an Extra gladiator when fighting with Spartacus? I think i might have to up the spawn on it?

could you check and see if i missed anything in the Israel Culture, because i get this (see pic1)?

DH, I get these TXT errors dont know for sure if they are fixed? Plus in your wonders, can you put the National Library one, the pink thing as an empty nif, just looks bad is all, thx.

If I recall some civs had to have some bonus productions taken out because it conflicted with DH's modular religions. I don't recall the specifics of it but I suppose to you try to dig up that conversation somewhere on this sub-forum.

EDIT: From what I can tell the following are Isreal cultured buildings ...

- Shrine of Bab (removed bonus since conflicted with DH's stuff)
- Solomon's Temple (This is actually kinda pointless since it can only be made by a GP.)
- Petra
- Madrass

If there are any more let me know.

Pic 1 you are confusing starting nation with the culture building of the same name. Just like people who play English and complain that that they can't build English Culture. ;)

Pic 3, all I can do is remove the whole graphic for the building. Is that what you want?
