Communist International (Comintern) Alliance

The founding principles of the two groups are not in conflict. One is to promote democracy, the other is anti-capitalist.

The two groups are not at "war", nor has there been any records of "state secrets" being stolen. How being within the arm of Comintern increases the chance of such espionage taking place is a doozy.

I have been invited to both, and do not see the need to drive such a strong divide.

Not in conflict? Has Venezuela read the founding principles? The Chicago Pact consists of a group of capitalists who do nothing but exploit the proletariat. Their goals are not to promote democracy. If that was their goals they would not allow the Chinese autocrats into their alliance. Yet they do so. Their goals are the preservation of the capitalist system as their nations are ruled by bourgeois oligarchs, and robber barons. The Russian Republic is the worst example of this.

Our goals are to advance the Revolution world wide and unite the workers, freeing them of their chains. This means the destruction of the capitalist system. The American Federation particularly being the the successor of the old United States, and us being the successor of the old Soviet Union makes our differences irreconcilable.

France (SRF) agrees that Venezuela cannot be in two blocs at once. Tunisia (TAJ) dosen't care much, but mostly agrees.

With that as it is, we chose to embrace the Comintern and withdraw from the Pact. We will be investing 1ESP into Genetics which will be shared with Comintern. Does this meet with approval?

France and Tunisia will support your membership, but have their reservations. What is to say you will not abandon the Comintern like you abandoned the Pact?

Both unions are in their infancy, with little clarity. We were invited to join both, an mistook that as acceptance to both. Having had these factors pointed out to us more clearly, we have made the descision to join Comintern. Our investment shows that our drive is strong.

Then France and Tunisia are eager to see Venezuela become a part of the Comintern.

OOC: Can I suggest the OP is tidied up? Spoiler the flags, or at least shrink them considerably. Also text can be wrapped around images, or at least centralised?

We accept Venezuela as a member. We advise them not to give up land to the Brazilian capitalist-imperialists.

Also we ask Indonesia to clarify its status.

As far as we are concerned we will remain an affiliate of Comintern regardless of how negotiations with Dar al-Islam go.

We plan to spend 1 EP on researching Equipment this turn and share it with our allies.

Tunisia votes to merge the Socialist Technology fund with Dar al-Islam's tech efforts.

France votes to keep the funds separate.

1-1, three votes passes or denies the measure, assuming only founding members get to vote.

Taking into account the rampant, unchecked, irresponsible, aggressive, imperialistic growth of the Chicago Capitalists, FEAR believes that in order to match them and keep up, that Dar-Al-Islam and the Comintern must cooperate against their common enemy Western Imperialists lest we fall behind. Thus FEAR votes yes on merging the technology fund.

FEAR furthermore proposes a strict sanctions regime on all goods be placed on China by Comintern until China free's the many occupied people that groan under its yoke. Indians, Tibetans, Japanese, and Uighars. FEAR votes yes.

TAJ agrees with the idea of Chinese sanctions. So does SRF.

The Indonesian Empire does not believe any action taken against the corrupt capitalist pigdogs of the ASEAN should be condemned. We propose to let our enemies destroy each other and take over the rubble when it is over.

Joint Statement from Tunisia and France:

TAJ and SRF agree with Indonesia. The sanctions were supported in a nod to the Far Eastern Republic's earlier concerns about a Pact-allied and unstable China, and have nothing to do with any invasion of ASEAN. Now that TAJ and SRF know about the invasion, they no longer have any desire to reduce China's fighting ability.

Let the capitalists destroy each other. ASEAN dug its own grave when it annexed Chinese land. Unlike ASEAN, FEAR holds no traditional Chinese homeland, and so do we believe FEAR will not be attacked.

We are ready to send air support if you wish to help deal with the insanity coming from Chengdu.

To Tunisia
From FEAR

If you are able to spare these forces they would no doubt be most welcome.

OOC: I've updated the research fund. 11 ASP this turn, and some good progress.

To FEAR

We are dispatching some air units ordered to coordinate with you as you direct them in regards to the situation in China.

OOC: Basically I am buying 1 ASP of Air Groups and sending them to assist you. You can say what you want them to do in your orders.

Given the capitalist encirclement we face in Europe, the PRE is unfortunately unable to dedicate any military aid to Asia this turn.

Note that Tunisia stands ready to aid her European Allies with land and sea as well as air if need be.

Unfortunately all we can send to the Asian situation is air support.

France cannot send troops to East Asia. We are even more encircled than the PRE.

OOC: TerrisH brought up a good idea in the Chicago Pact thread. Karalysia, you should put the 'INES II:' prefix at the start of this thread.
