I always thought Dragon Warrior had some great music, the Stronghold series as well. And of course Pokemon is rather famous. Always hated the Civ 3 music. I did think it was fun to have Mozart blaring in World at War while slugging towards the Reichstag and fighting in the sewers of Berlin.

Not a computer game, technically, but the Ace Combat games have always had fantastic scores. This one starts off in atonal clusters and then slowly flows into something else - listen with the volume up to catch the early parts!

Jeremy Soule's pieces are always lovely, whether that be Morrowind, Oblivion or anything else.

The theme to The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is a personal favourite. It seems to be the perfect illustration of the game's atmosphere.
