The problem is you have to pay for Babylon.
Is that unexpected? I paid for Babylon when the game came out.

Should have been in the game to begin with.
As someone else said, it's just a marketing ploy. What better way to calm the masses than by giving away "free" DLC. This was obviously decided pre-release.
I'll take it though.![]()

alright back to the mongols, which is what this thread is supposed to be about... where do you go to find the mongol scenario?
They should have integrated Babylon to both versions from the outset.
Do we have to manually download this or will it automatically be updated?
Thanks
$10 at mcdonalds? even I don't eat that much.1. Neither $5 or $10 is enough to even bat an eye over. You spend that at McDonalds on something gone in 15 minutes. If you enjoy the game, you will pay the cash and not whine.
Actually, I bought it there because I had a $5 off AND got civIII for free AND got the free dlc thing. i hade no hate towards steam until after i got the game.2. Those of you who bought from Direct2Drive. You probably did it because of your dislike (mostly unwarranted) of Steam. Well now you're not as special.
Well, about the d2d thing. I bought through them, and in my games & files list, "Civilization V 1st DLC" still has a non-functional "preorder" button next to it. I'm assuming that if the dlc they were giving me was already out, it would say "Download" instead.
