It just seems rather dubious to label the figure as such when those concepts did not exist in his time.

His espoused values/goals are fairly common across the political spectrum, wherein the difference lies in how we go about realizing them.

This is extremey stupid, if true, since the Bible is an apolitical book and I am sure that if Jesus were alive today, he would be critical of both parties that in control of America.

A site I found recently which is rather interesting is http://bible.cc/. Basically your search result is given using multiple versions of the Bible, so that you can read all versions for the verse to make an informed interpretation. As an example: Exodus 20:13.
