Since CG's informational poll on term length closed over a week ago in favor of 25-turn terms and there has been no amendment proposed since then, I will make the proposal to amend Article G. Here is my proposal:

Original article
Code:
Article G. All offices will be filled via election with terms lasting according
to a fixed schedule based on game years. Terms shall be divided into 10 equal
terms of 45 turns each and place elections accordingly.
Proposed changes:
Code:
Article G. All offices will be filled via election with terms lasting according
to a fixed schedule based on game years. [b]There shall be equal
terms of 25 turns each and elections shall be held accordingly.[/b]

Discuss. :)

If this amendment is polled, it will require 13 affirmative votes to pass.
