I'll be on the road from Thursday to Friday. Cologne Carnival
Probably missing no save in the MTDG but likely in the PBEM.
I'll drop in here casually but will have no C3C-computer available (still hesitate to install Civ on my company's notebook ).

And of course no chance to finish Cotm44. There goes my place in the GPR...

edit: You never know when Wotan will play, so if we should get the save before friday, is anybody willing to play it?
Of course I'm not too disappointed if it waits for me

Well I'm back and the saves also - but I have no internet access (with download capability) right now. I hope I find one on saturday night - if I will post here and play tomorrow, if not, does anyone else want to play this turn?

edit: I walked a mile and found a download opportunity.
Got it and will play tonight.
I will probably send saves in 12-16 hours.

I've been checking in all along. The slow pace of the MTDG and the recent slow pace in our pbem (and even in the deathmatch) is disheartening. I'm almost ready to suggest we trash this MTDG and start a new one.

This sounds like you should be the turnplayer again.
This keeps you busy, makes you feel the action and lessens the pain of waiting.

Or heightens the frustration while waiting for BABE to play a turn. That's a double edged sword.

I'm nearing the end of my teaching period, which means the next few weeks will be a lot of work for me. I don't think this will affect the PBEM or deathmatch much, they don't require that much time, but my posting will likely be a lot less frequent for a while.

Knowing the spoilers is no reason imo, I trust every player here to abstract from his strategic knowledge and play the operational moves fairly.

Not owning C3C is a reason.
