CrezNES - Another Return to Our Roots

TO HELLENIC REPUBLIC
FROM ABALONIA

What is this "colony" ? Do you plan to expand? If so it will be war. We will allow you that strip of land, but do not attempt to take our lands which surround it. We also demand that you allow our troops free movment through it.

We do not plan to expand, we seek access to the lands beyond to see if we can civilize barbarians farther to the South and east. Your troops have no prohibitions, though mind you, hostile actions will be met with hostile actions. But as long as you do not trouble us, pay for their food, shelter, and other necessities, and do not disturb the peace at Suez, your soldiers are free to pass as they wish. Merchants and civilians are welcome as well.

Sorry for not sending orders...had my hands full after a party last night.

The Jaguar Warriors

The Jaguar warriors were the the greatest warriors in Amazonia. They were trained specifically to excel in guerrilla combat in the jungles, but they were also trained to fight better than standard troops in "regular" fields of combat. When fighting in the dense jungles of the Amazon, Jaguar fighters have a tendency to eliminate entire units without being seen...firing arrows from the shadows, abducting soldiers silently, and using the canopy to move unnoticed. They were truly a fearsome opponent.

The individual Jaguar Warrior was equipped with with a short bow and arrows, for longer range strikes; a blowgun with poisoned darts, for stealthy elimination of enemies; a broad tipped spear, for standard combat; and a knife, for close quarters combat. The wide variety of weapons allowed Jaguar Warriors to be perfectly efficient without support units, and very very deadly. Jaguar Warriors are clothed in very little, and were also lightly armored (only being given a small shield for combat). They wear a single jaguar pelt, which is the trophy from the final phase of training...stalking and killing a jaguar.

Military/Expansion
- Jaguar Warriors will take territory to the north, into modern day French Guiana, Suriname, and Guyana...and maybe Venezuala if they can get that far.
- One Stone Navy will traverse down the Amazon River, spreading the word of a new kingdom which will bring wealth and prosperity to the Amazon river basin. Allow any tribes that wish to join to do so. Their lands will be integrated into the kingdom's and they will become citizens, and will benefit from all systems of the kingdom. If a tribe does not wish to join, acknowledge them and continue along without causing trouble...but mark their place on the map. Also, map out all the the territory around and all the details of the river, so it can be better used as a military asset.

This is acceptable to us. We will not cause trouble in your lands.

Allow Abalonia access across Suez, but make sure he doesn’t stir anything up, or just like, take it over. Use armies to expand north into the Balkans and expand Byzantium.

Good Luck on the Update, Keep it up! :goodjob:

For Borders, how about we use the rivers. You stay on that side we stay on this side?

OOC: I went to use photobucket and it dumped a happy set of malware on my comp so I cannot post a map at the moment.

To The Celts

All of you, together we will destroy those who infringe on our homelands and steal our monarchs!

To Clans of Celts and Franks

Any and all persons to Join the Union is hereby a Citizen and will recieve all responsibilities and perks of civilization as such.

To the Dani
(also to all citizens)

Our king died 40 years ago under captivity (age 70) before you invaded. He never had any offspring except Prince Ronald, who leads the Army. Your foul hands ripped the royal blood of London down and turned London into ruins. Nevermore shall you rape and incest! Nevermore! Take up your arms citizens and together, we will push them past the Sea!

Czech
1, how many ships are in a navy? Because if 1 army is about 10k, then the Dani has 2.4k rafts from their vikings.

2, Can I e-mail you my orders instead?

3, This is my personal formula for UU: 1 EP is either 1 good trait, 1 ok trait and 1 special equipment, 1 great trait and 1 bad trait or 1 great trait, 1 horrible trait and 1 special equipment. I count wonders as 1 trait filler, so in my books, the Vikings either are not diciplined or other way as their bad trait since they already have a great and special equipment. :). All is fair: my long boats has 2 good traits (manuverability, ocean going) and 1 bad trait (small sized easy to board.) So Vikings are slightly overpowered.

4, Great update, they are going to pay for their food! We won't give them any!

5, Finally, can I change UU?
P.S. Please send me a count of approx Viking Divisions in Norfranka and London.

Military Industry of the 2500 B.C.E.

Industry know concerns mostly weaponry and armour compared to the past few hundred years. However, a strong breeding program is avalible to try to breed the best sheep while Weaving of high-quality goods still holds in Liverpool.

Weapons has advanced from the One-stone spears, bound clubs and light bows to powerful 'Slicer' Spears, with one side full of blades and another ends with a hook to stab. Another advance is the 'Bibiuface', a mace with stone blades reinforced with sap to make it strong and light. However, the most revered weapons are the "Partisan" hand ax with a knife tip and the "Triflia" Bow, reinforced with sneiw and with sharp, multi-stone arrows. The multi-stone arrangement allows for constant recycling and ease of attaching Poison Weed (now known as Burning Hogweed) or Burning Hay to the tip.

Armour advanced to the padded layers of wool under leather into new use of Huse Grapes, which gives a juice that hardens into a hard sap. The Makers of York Armour swear by mixing it with Flanders Wool and then squeese it between layers of Leather. The resulting 'Hard Leather' is even lighter thant he old leather and wool armour and yet strong enouth to turn asside the Viking's Axes.

Helmets made of carved ribs also became useful as armour makers strech leather over it and use the Sap to fix it into one comfortable piece. Currently all armour needs Huse Grape Oil to maintain and without it, will fall apart. However, some are trying native Lime Water which seems to work just as fine.

The famed weapon-makers are migrating to Liverpool, their armour and weapons brining courage to those who wield them.

Thank you for going back to your shanti, NWAG. It was a bastard move you pulled, and the only reason it took so much to beat you was you had lucky rolls on turn 2. Congratulations, you got your ass whupped. I must congratulate you on finishing the fight you started, however. It's the first time I ever seen you do that.

ORDERS
-Spend 1 jack on increasing my economy. Lay the agricultural work needed to suppply food for an extry city.
-Spend 2 jack on another Jugguh NOT army.

-Use 1/2 of a Jugguh NOT to expand north with. The rest of my army will defend.

I wanted to see how I would fare militarily against Amon Savag. How would you have suggested I go about it?

@Charles Li: 1. A navy has about 5,000 soldiers manning fifty fully-armed ships.

2. No. Use PM if you have to.

3. It's a good formula, I use something like that, and yes, it's fair.

4. Glad you think so.

5. You sure can, but all previous UUs will be retired.

P.S. There are 3 vikings in London and 3 outside Flanders.

@Charles Li
Why do you think the Manchu and Goths managed to destroy some of the greatest empires in history? Because they had a greater economies than Rome and China? :rotfl:

Same goes for the Mongols and Viking/Norsemen, Sophisticated and Cultured nations (like yours) got conquered by Barbaric and Warlike ones (like Mine) throughout history, especially when Technology stagnated and the Barbarians were no longer technologically inferior.

@ Feanor

I know, but you never were ever technologically inferior...

My culture will wreak havok with your vikings, deserting and all...

(You have 400 rafts per viking while 1 navy is only 50 large ships! )

Finally,
you are not barbarian. :) I am your Brother!

"Nooooo! You are too noobish to be my brother!"

Good luck. Orders sent soon with New UU.

Note: the rafts are way way smaller than the warships of a navy. A navy could tear apart a barbarian 1 on 1... he just had 6 vikings.

Orders sent! Story very very soon!

(I should have a city at Nates.)

Opps. Didn't notice occupation thing. Don't buy one of the Non-UUs.
