What about the Irish? Scottish? Celts? Welsh? There are plenty of people that play with mods that add other "British" civs.
Oh, and here's a teamcolour version of the unit. Just place it in the same directory that you extracted the regular version and let it overwrite.

A34 Comet. Last British Cruiser tank. Basically an an A27M Cromwell that has been slightly (10cm) widened to allow a larger turret ring for the carriage of the 77mm ordance (slightly modified 17pdr)

Cromwell hull with a new turret would be all that would be required to create the Comet for Civ4. I'm am currently working on a mod based on Road to War but with some expansion of the armour options. The Comet is the UK's Advanced Medium tank. The Comet also served with Finland, Ireland, South Africa and Burma.
