Crusader Kings 2

I did the tutorial but I don't recall them mentioning this.
No need to get grumpy.

Strangely enough, I'm not grumpy. I was going for a questioney suggestion tone.

Stupid text-based communication.

But Dublin is not Ulster, therefore not ruled by the Sithrigi, who have the best dynasty name in not-Scandinavia.

My empire stretches across Europe fun!!! The grandfather of this dude united the Empire of Britannia. Then his mother was queen of Taurica and Bulgaria so he inherited those provinces. The Aztec came to southern France so we holy war that area and got those places too. My kinsman from way back when is now duke of Skane and became independence from Denmark, so I offered him to become part of my empire and he accepted.

Looks like Spain is getting no love in that game.

Take the entire duchy for yourself and then destroy the title.

Crusader Kings II: The Republic revealed

The latest expansion for Crusader Kings II is looking to launch the fleets of the medieval merchant republics, offering a very different gameplay style to the feudal lords we’ve lived through so far. Using trade, wealth, and political savvy, you’ll have to lead your Patrician family to greatness in Venice, Genoa, Pisa, the Hanseatic League, or Gotland. We sent our spymaster to “Extract Details” from project lead Henrik Fåhraeus, which you can dig into below.

Ooh!

EDIT:

New DLC finally announced: so it is Republics (the second most requested after Pagans, I beleive), which is cool and all. Link here: http://www.pcgamer.com/2012/12/08/crusader-kings-iis-next-expansion-announced-the-republic/

Looks to me like it's almost like an entirely new game in a sense, with a wholly completely different gameplay style for Republic/Patrician families (though they didn't explain real well what exactly is happening if you're elected out of power - I think you'll stil keep your unique family holding in the republic). Heck, even the new patrician clothes they wear are enough to make it look interesting. I'm a bit sad pagans won't get fleshed out yet, but from the looks of it this is just as good as SoI. Now I have good reason to personally mod my game to be expanded to the late 1400s.

The first Dev Diary for the Republics are up; link here.

For those too lazy to click the link or can't access it:

Nothing new. A bit disappointed there won't be more playable republics (although it seems just for the 1066 start, hopefully?) and it's mostly stuff that's already been announced, but otherwise I'm still exited.

A bit late.
