[shamelessselfpromotion]I'm blogging about CK2! (and Paradox in general, but you know...) Go over and have a look if you're interested, i just thought this was a good place to announce it and all. Also, paradoxplaza won't let me link to it like CFC does so yeah.[/shamelessselfpromotion]
Anyone got any requests?
Bad luck, I guess. After getting absorbed by the Isles it was only a matter of time before Scotland absorbed them, and my liege took the island, IIRC. I didn't have time to take any of Ireland. A lot of it depends on how strong Scotland is early game.
Has anyone ever found themselves in the peculiar position where your son or grandson is your liege and you are subordinate to them?
I find it easy to steal Spain kingdoms if they have girl heirs/rulers. Just betroth them and when they come of age accept the normal marriage. Sometimes they popup and change the term to matrilinear but I never click that option.![]()
I know the coding can't handle a ruler without a regnal numeral, but the first of that name doesn't have a regnal numeral, for the simple reason that he is the first of that name. Calling him William I is clearly implying that there is a second ruler of that name and you're using the 'I' to differentiate him from his eventual successor.

Unfortunately, that problem only persisted for about a month, as I recall.
Don't Counts and Barons not have numerals?
It's slightly less awesome when you're responsible for fixing all sorts of localisation errors, frequently made by those for whom English is not their first language, but yes, it's my favourite mod.![]()
Man, those names bring back memories.
One of these days, I'm going to register so I can download that and the Game of Thrones mod.
Did you play Arena?
Then let me just take the time to say you're awesome, because I can't recall a single grammatical error.
