Pretty much every unit is in his mod. :D

(just kidding, well, there are other much bigger mods, like Steph's, with over 3000 units, but it hasn't actually been released)

 That seems to be a fact.
If he wants me interested, he'd better have an extensive assortment of early modern ones, I am a sucker for pikes and muskets.

:crazyeye: I don't think my poor old computer would handle that easily, just like me it is quite - historical!

I think I know 10, so 5 points for me too! :D
And I can only offer you the same advice; my PM box is always open.
Additionally, I consider #10 to be the question the least likely to get a correct answer to, so it would really please me if you could nail that one, all the more so since that composer is one of my personal favourites.

And you are completely right.:goodjob:
So 5 points so far, but this success should really spur you to greater feats!

Thanks! It would have been a shame if I didn't know, I'm a musician after all. :D

I took a closer look on the quiz and I might be able to answer 1 or 2 more questions for now... I'll see. :)

And a very good one also!:goodjob:

That's the spirit!
I am just about to log out now, but by all means submit people; I get up very early in the morning.

Very well, in that case just PM me and you will get on the scoreboard.
Err... maybe if i'll get the answer to another question. Question 11 has some extra points if you id some stuff in the pics ... So does that mean you get the points only if you answer the question and id the pics ?
The guy in pic 1 of that question seems awfully familiar, i could've sworn i've seen him a lot of times and in a lot of places. I should go find a wall to bang my head in it to see if the answer will come.
BTW, is this unit in your mod?
Sadly it is not. :( (this is a hint :D - now everyone go download my mod and see what the answer is not :mischief: )
I've constructed my mod so that it adds new concepts to the normal game. Mostly gameplay things - so fewer units than most mods. That's why it says in my sig that the mod is for purists too - i just hope it didn't push back both purists and mod players.
In that case I will consider downloading it in spite of its gargantuan size..
Well ... the short version is 60MB ... :mischief:
:crazyeye: I don't think my poor old computer would handle that easily, just like me it is quite - historical!
I doubt it's older than mine. :p :D

No it doesn't. You get the points for identifying the people disregarding if you do not know which city it is or not.

More often than not I do that sort of thing after having visited OT, and believe me; it doesn't work... :crazyeye:

Sadly it is not. :( (this is a hint :D - now everyone go download my mod and see what the answer is not :mischief: )
Ah, so your mod isn't finished anyway, then..:p

Actually I find that to be good. In many ways I prefer Rhye's mod to the epic game (but on the other hand I find RAR to be too geeky).I think I will have a look at it.

Well ... the short version is 60MB ... :mischief:
OK, so I don't have that excuse then.

I doubt it's older than mine. :p :D
Perhaps not in years, but in attitude it beats most methinks.

And so for some news:
We have a new leader, as Mirc in a determined effort cracked #3 as well as presenting a couple of other correct answers, reaching 22.
And shortguy also did rather well, and scored 14.
So just bring it on guys!:D

I've been thinking a lot about 5, but can't get the answer.

I guess i read this too late then. FWIW you're right. :crazyeye:

I like those too, but things go a bit too slow in those mods IMHO.

:yup: :D

@Heretic_Cata: I have exactly the same feeling as you, just that about the cavalry question! :wallbash:
I'm sure I've even... Edit: well maybe that's too much of a clue... ;)

"Unfortunately I am always right" - Bertold Brecht and yours truly.:D

:p

I like those too, but things go a bit too slow in those mods IMHO.
I like most things slow, so I don't mind. And I am more than a bit proud of my Spaceship victory without building any worker during the whole game (Rhyes on emperor with the Dutch)...:D

Sir, yes sir! Downloading later tonight sir!:salute:

As for Mirc, he just remembered the name of the military unit, so he climbs to 27.Bravo, Mirc! :goodjob:

Wow that's - wow .

Speaking of history quizes, did i mention there might be smallish historical errors ? :mischief: In my defence - it does say in the description it's a pseudo-realistic mod. :mischief:

Looking forward for your feedback. :)

Wow that's - wow .
Well, I was probably a bit lucky, but by being aware of any opportunity of buying workers as well as letting my Swiss Mercenaries loose on Otto and Katya gave me all the workforce I could ever dream of.

No problem, it is your mod and I hardly think it can be worse than some of the things Firaxis did.
I am waiting to download it just as I write this (I decided to go for the full 131MB version), but I don't think I will be able to play it so much before Thursday, unfortunately.

Looking forward for your feedback. :)
From what i have read in your thread, I look forward to play it as there seem to be some inspired and ingenious concepts.

Wow - I think I know the answer to one of them. I haven't a clue about any of the rest!

That puts you one up on me... I can't get a single one w/o extensive researching, which isn't supposed to be the aim of this quiz, methinks..

So I won't submit, but I'll still be interested in the answers!

Edit: OK, I could get a couple of points on the pictures in 11, but don't know the city... and question 4 was easy enough to google, but that doesn't count.

True.
There is another quiz here for that, but for some reason that one doesn't seem to trigger much interest.
So I won't submit, but I'll still be interested in the answers!
Excellent. I will try to make the presentation of the answers comprehensive and extensive. Part of the point with such a quiz is indeed to entertain and inform the non-participants as well.
Edit: OK, I could get a couple of points on the pictures in 11, but don't know the city... and question 4 was easy enough to google, but that doesn't count.
Well, to my surprise not all of the participants so far has been able to identify those people, and slightly less surprising not the painter neither.
As for #4, it would indeed be easy with googling, since most of it is copy-pasted from a very popular webpage. I do that sometimes, since my English is unfortunately not exactly impeccable.

:wallbash:
The third one looks very familiar, but I don't have the slightest clue who he is.
