I never said that I had already addressed these.

I know, but why add exciting new shiny things to the car when it's engine sometimes shuts down in the middle of the highway? All yesterday's evening I was loading Canada. 2 starts with CTDs, 2 starts without.

Because chasing crashes isn't much fun.

I love everything about that answer. Succinct. Candid. Precise.

So guess what I'm doing right now? :D

New commit: Removed culture cost penalty for hills.

The new culture system and map both need fine-tuning.

The new culture system and map both need fine-tuning.
I will make it harder to prefer tiles that are disconnected culturally, other than that I don't see what you mean.

More than 160 culture in Dunhuang and yet desert town cannot be worked. Compare this to old system: 10 culture required.

The silk road needs rework, currently it's more or less just RFC isn't it?

These towns are an anomaly anyway, and I don't feel like catering to them. I'll find a better solution to making these cities worthwhile. Maybe it should be possible to build cottages on oases.

Some of those tiles should be grassland/plains in ancient times, desertification happened later. Also, why not add in the Tarim river?

Is it possible to move the stability check after city conquest after my decision if I want to keep or raze it (or liberate it)?
Right now you get punished twice, because the population of that city counts towards your overextension even if you raze it and take that stability hit, making it 2 negative factors at once.
It is not that big of a thing, but would imho be a quality of life improvement and help making the mod feel a bit more fair.#

edit: also the rebirth seems weird. I conquer a city, the civ collapses the very next turn they are reborn with huge amounts if new units, even more cities than they had before and possibly more techs. Seriously? I thought there'd be a ~10 turn period after a collapse before they can come back -.-

I don't have any particular Canada feedback to act on, but I still have some improvements for the culture mechanics.

Unfortunately most feedback is being published in bug section. If I manage to avoid CTDs I get Python exceptions for immigration event.
