Yeah, let Cornwall starve.

Hi! I've been following the mod on and off for years, and it's great to see that it's still alive.

I just played a quick Babylon, and something weird happened in one of the iterations. Greece spawned, but they didn't declare war on me. In fact, I was able to setup open borders immediately. Also, their dynamic name was something to do with city states rather than the usual "Greek League". Is this supposed to be possible? I'm definitely not complaining :)

Greco-babylonian war is random.

If Greece is at peace its default name is "greek city-states". If it's at war its name convert to "greek league". This simulates the fact that ancient Greece was fragmented in small city-states and kingdoms, that united only in cases of war forming leagues.

 yes, exactly!

I mean, it is unrealistic to expect people find themselves in the middle of the continent anyway! Perhaps conquerors should appear at the closest tile adjacent to Coast with tiles covered by enemy culture being a priority?

Plymouth in our game. The southwesternmost tile of Britain in our game corresponds to Cornwall and has name Plymouth when one builds city there.

Canada already appears as an AI civ per default. To activate the others, find PLAYER_OCCURRENCE_[your civ] in Assets/XML/GlobalDefinesAlt.xml and set it from 0 to 1.

I think the best way to review the India changes is the South Asia Discussion thread, I have posted a number of screenshots there while working on India.

Yeah, we're still in the situation where every civ has its own slot.

Is it intentional that Dharani can enter capes? I met Tamils on 3000 BC English start. Also China already had Gunpowder in 820 AD. And this is on Monarch!
