Brazil hereby announces a defensive alliance with America. How could we not ally with such a generous English country with that splendid, ambitious Latin minority.

To Uruguay: We will take in as many refugees as you wish to send us and otherwise aid in humanitarian relief against suffering. If you are willing to be protected by us we will include your remaining land as an autonomous province and accept the conversion of your forces as the Brazilian southwest army (I'd get their units and their army formation?) to act as a buffer zone in return for political autonomy within Brazil and protection. Brasilia will of course be responsible for security arrangements as we do not wish for a war with Argentina to liberate the rest of your country (and with the conflict over Argentina would get their 1c a turn so they don't need to take the rest?). Please accept this offer and retain some of your freedom and vitality. We will treat you well and your forces will not be sent away from protecting the remainder of Uruguay.
Argentina has just agreed to this resolution to end the conflict peaceably. We await only your response now.

Very well, I can't see how New Guinea would object to being protected by both powers at their border. It merely insures that they will not be invaded by either power.

Article 9 of the Japanese Constitution Abolished after an almost unanimous vote!
Article 9 of the Japanese Constitution, the Article forbidding war by the nation of Japan has been abolished by an almost unanimous vote by the Diet of Japan; 474 of 480 members of the House of Representatives approved the resolution while 238 of the 242 members of The House of Councilors approved the resolution. The Article came under heavy fire after the Japanese invasion of the Mariana's Islands and many Parliament members doubted whether it actually was still in effect and soon enough Resolution 1874A came to the table asking for the Abolition of Article 9..

Everyone, I cannot stress this enough, read the rules! I'm getting orders which can't be carried out because things you are trying to do are not possible! If you have trouble understanding the rules, please, ask me questions. I don't bite.
Here's an example, which might actually apply to some orders I've received...
If you try to transport an army with a fleet that you did not buy, your army won't go anywhere. In fact, it won't do anything at all. Fleets cost 10c to make, and if you don't pay that 10c, you don't get a fleet. [/RANT]
